I hadn't thought about just using Duralumin + Electrum, so a bit disappointed in myself there. Perhaps it's just a matter of scale? Duralumin will only burn off what you have injested, and maybe reverse-compounding would grant a far larger amount than someone can physically consume? Definitely need more information there. As to what Electrum does, most of this theory is based off of the Ars Arcanum from Alloy of law. The table there says, in a vague manner, "Reveals Your Own Future" which is definitely different from how it was explained in tHoA. In the detailed section, it says "Oracle Mistings burn electrum to see a vision of possible paths their future could take. This is usually limited to a few seconds." This seems again, to be far different from what Vin/Elend were using it for, and could present a large opportunity for use with enough electrum power. There will be some Mistborn and Stormlight talk here, so beware. We've got some WoBs on Hoid, mentioning that he knows where to be thanks to feruchemy. But how though? Feruchemy itself has two things that might do it, storing Luck with Chromium or perhaps mental speed with Zinc. But that seems easy. Let's get really tinfoily with it. Assumptions 1) Hoid has Feruchemical abilties - We have the above report about this, but that's just one source. Nothing confirmed from novels as of yet. 2) Hoid has Allomantic abilities - This is speculation based on the scene in WoR where Shallan see's him putting something in his drink. Not confirmed, but seems like a nod from Brandon. Whether this is from the lerasium, or another means, isn't relevant right now. All the Compounding we know works by storing a trait with Feruchemy, and burning it with Allomancy, and getting a giant boost out of the Feruchemical power (i.e. gold compounding causes massive healing, and atium compouding grants youth). The reverse works (i.e. burning a metal with Allomancy, and storing/enhancing it with Feruchemy to get a massive amount) as confirmed/discussed here. Hoid could be doing that with Electrum to see a massive amount of his personal future, seeing where he will be, and inferring where to go. Is it just me, or does anyone else see a resemblance between the two glyphs for sas and nahn, and the two windrunner surges from the WOK end sheets?

Perhaps it's not that there's no railing, but that the distance between the top of the bridge and the bottom is larger than we're thinking. More like 4 feet, giving the bridgemen something to push against along the sides, but also not counting as a railing when crossing the top.

I don't know. The scene where Dalinar witnesses the Radiants abandoning their charge seems to indicate that the plate loses its glow as soon as the Radiants begin to take it off and abandon it. But that could go to support it either way, whether it be powered by the bond or by the stormlight held by the radiants. They do worry a bit about their gems before fights. It's not mentioned that the charge itself is important, but the scene in which Sadeas is giving his testimony about the saddle girth brings them up. He mentions the king losing eight gems and that being a big deal. I'd think that would mean their existence and wellbeing is maintained/watched, but it isn't proof the charge is necessary. It's weird, the only thing we have confirmation that the stormlight itself aids with is the healing of the plate. Everything else could be stormlight or the plate, it's not clear either way. Though there is a similarity between Plate and holding a lot of stormlight, regarding speed and strength.

I take a different view of Shardplate. Instead of being a fabrial recreation of old Plate, I think the Stormlight-gems used today are a replacement for their old power source. Kind of like duct taping a bunch of AAAs to a car battery to charge it. My idea is that the sets of Plate that exist were modified to use Stormlight because their old source was removed. My theory on that source is that the spren themselves that the Radiants bonded with were the source. Or if not the spren themselves, the Radiant's commitment/oath, which seems to "powerup" Syl at the end after Kaladin says the second set of words.

I like the idea that Miles is being controlled/influenced via being spiked, but I think people are forgeting that the spikes that open that door aren't your random door nail. They're infused either with allomancy/feruchemy/humanity, meaning someone would have had to give them to Miles. Were I Miles, if someone randomly gave me a gold spike, I'd be a bit suspicious. I guess that if the spikes/goldminds he has in himself didn't come from an outside source, would they get infused from him dying a bajillion times? Maybe they're slowing sapping him after each death, and that's what causes him to lose his humanity/empathy?

About #3, while reading through I had associated Iron-Eyes with TLR, and assumed that it was a continuation of Yomen's of TLR in Hero of Ages. Looking back, I see the Marsh connection, but part of me still wants to believe its TLR focused, and the name just being co-opted from Marsh. Or that Sliverism is TLR focused, but Iron-eyes references the Ruin-controlled Marsh that Yomen saw at the end of Hero of Ages.

I like the theory, though it made me immediately consider that giant spren we see in one of the interludes. The easy way out would be to say that it's a "special" spren like Syl (or potentially the greatshell spren), but if we follow your theory, there must be something huge influencing it in the vicinity.
