He smiled at her still, noticing her looking at his cards, knowing she was on her way to learningg how to really play the game. He had three blues, including a +2; three yellows, all numbers; two reds, one a skip; and four greens, including a reverse and +2. He also had a wild.

He smiled at her, blushing slightly, “Sorry, old instincts.”

Edgar attempted to glance at her cards. He tended to do that when playing card games, it came with being an older brother.

He shuffled adeptly, then dealt.

“I am.”

“Ok. Jump ins?”

Edgar quickly kissed her. “It isn’t.” He turned to Elsie, “I’ll play too, if that’s ok.”

Edgar noticed, and he turned to Jenny. “It isn’t your fault either, ok?”

“Yeah. He doesn’t hate you. He hates the rest of us. He talks to you, at least a little. Not the rest of us.”

“But you did better talking to him than the rest of us.”

“It’s not your fault.” He looked to Jenny for support. @Lunamor

“Don’t blame yourself for how he’s acting, ok? I don’t know if he knows himself, and it’s definitely not your fault. I know you want to be his friend but…well I don’t know if he’s capable of that right now, ok?”

Edgar tried to catch her eye and motion for her to sit.

Addison found Tal. Pic and Jar Man were attacking him. Maybe he would kill get even the flames, for some unknown reason, could not. She walked towards him, unnaturally calm.

He shrugged. He wasn’t a hero. People like him, normal people, went to asphodel. “Thanks,” he said halfheartedly. - - - “Can I play too? I can shuffle.” @Random Bystander
