  1. “I tried to take Platypus’s sword. Why am I important to you anyway?”
  2. “Actually this puny weapon does make a difference.” Drilk slits his own throat. I mean by anyone, a Mordite death is final, right? Also, if you’re confused about Drilk’s actions, I posted a status update about him earlier, reading that might help.
  3. Drilk takes out one of his daggers and holds it to his own throat. “I’ll do it, you better stop what you’re doing.” If someone dies from Mordite, they can’t be brought back, right? But this isn’t the Mordite dagger.
  4. “That doesn’t sound fun, I think I’ll leave now. Bye!” Drilk teleports away into his magically protected safe house.
  5. I kill mistborn.
  6. “Better, maybe do it a couple of extra times to be sure.”
  7. “I think so,” Drilk said, stretching his arms. Then he tried to take a step, but something was holding him back. “Well, it kind of worked, you might have to do it again.”
  8. “Yes. Just get me out of here or I’ll kill myself to get out.”
  9. “You just talked to me, you should know who I am. Just please get me out of here!”
  10. “Well then, can you at least get me out of this binding?”
  11. “… many. But each time I die I’m made more powerful by Death. Anyway, could you help me out, I’m a little stuck. I’ve been around for a long time but I’ve never figured out exactly how narration works, so I have a hard time defeating narrators.”
  12. “Yep, I’ve learned that what she wants is best for my own well being. And, if I do it she sometimes endows me with stuff upon my next rebirth.” I just made a status update about Drilk for anyone that is wondering stuff.
  13. Ok, this is where I explain my TLT character, Drilk and the new one, Death (although she isn’t extremely important, at least not yet).

    Drilk:

He is a goblin, about four feet tall. He is practically immortal, although he can be killed and will be out of the story for a bit while he is resurrected and given new orders by Death. He is an expert potion master, a good knife fighter, and a passable brawler. He forgets everything when resurrected, but regains his memory quickly. He also has teleportation, although it can be blocked. He can also turn invisible.

    Potions often used:

Duplicates: Drilk duplicates into eleven more copies of himself. These are real copies (like clones), not illusions. They replicate everything on him, but magical objects are replicated by a non magical object. Duplicates turn to ash after a couple hours.

Polymorph: turned into another species (often a dragon). Worn/carried objects are incorporated into his new form. He retains intelligence. Ends after a couple minutes.

Flight: can fly ten feet per second, hovering.

Other potions can be used by him.

    Death:

Mysterious being that commands Drilk and resurrects him. Not part of the main plot yet.

  14. “No, I doubt you would know her. She is the one that revives me and places me in a situation where I can do her bidding.” I just made this up, Drilk has died and come back, he works for a mysterious being who calls herself Death who is the one who resurrects him.
  15. I got tickets for everything I’m doing, which includes (but is not only) the second heat of competitive dnd (if anyone else is doing that, tell me please), Witlash, why sci fi, and the cosmere 401.
  16. Death sent him to a place where he could be commanded by Rirrom.
  17. “Yep. Death sent me to do this, but I never know why she commands me to do what I do.”
  18. “I must give the blade Plot Significance to the Once Author. He won’t give it to me peacefully, so I happily turned to a fight.”
  19. “Why would you help me?” I assume this is telepathic communication, because Drilk can’t move.
  20. “I don’t think you understand. Feanor made me a servant, to do his will. Not even he understood my power, nor why I was sent to him. I say Death is my friend, you ignore it. Do you think I’m lying? Death has plans for me, and I think I’ll go talk to him now about my place here. I’m done being thrown around, having to fight well below my skill level” Drilk said. He snapped his fake tooth, grimacing as the poison entered his body. Death may he his friend but he always hated dying. Then, suddenly, he felt himself being sent somewhere dark. He neutralized the poison, hoping that subverting good would come of this.
  21. “We are good friends, kill me if you wish, but I’ll come back stronger than before. Who knows, maybe Death will even gift me a plotblade of my own this time.”
  22. Just so you know, they aren’t illusions, they are duplicates, like clones. They can be killed and don’t have Mordite. Drilk laughed, ignoring whatever it was Platypus was doing. He had timed his potions perfectly again, his duplicates invisible when Platypus thought them destroyed. He watched as they, invisible to all but him, launched themselves at Platypus in a barrage of black steel and fists.
