  1. I hope you can, as I said it’s great. But life can sometimes get in the way, and life comes first.
  2. That was beautiful, terrifying, sad, haunting, and perfect. You are a great poet Eddie! Now I want more, please give me more to this story!
  3. Thank you! I agree, thieves are very fun to write. And I’ve kept my commitment of 1 chapter each week, so I’ve once again avoided the pointy writing stick
  4. Thank you and thank you again! Chapter 2 P.S., Names are in the works, most are just placer names for now.
  5. Seth was bored. Again. He had been waiting for so long to do something interesting, but the only thing that had happened was his interaction with that strange woman. Maybe he should go try to find her. He stepped out of the ball once again, and headed in the direction he saw her go. @Canada Lover
  6. Seth stands, walking in. Enough sitting on the steps, nothing was happening. He stepped into the ball room again, hoping someone would notice him.
  7. “Understands what, my lord?”
  8. Seth sat on the stairs up to the entrance, waiting for something to happen.
  9. Seth shrugged, then sat down, waiting.
  10. “Hello, is someone here?” Seth asked warily.
  11. “Alright then…I’m going to get some fresh air.” Seth moved away from the man, out through the front doors. He saw something slink into the shadows. He slid over, looking closer. @Canada Lover
  12. “An envoy from where and from whom?”
  13. “It’s scary, but there’s nothing we can do about it. Only thing to do now is live our lives to the fullest. And who are you?”
  14. “…who are you?” Seth asked after a moment of uncomfortable silence.
  15. What’s the point, you’re never going to dance, Seth thought. He moved away from the dance floor, downing his wine, and someone caught his eye. Why was that strange man wearing all black? And that mask, such unusual fashion. He moved towards the man, as always his curiosity getting the better of him.
  16. “I died for a reason. Anyway, did I ever claim intelligence?”
  17. “If he had been smart enough he would have won. Or he would have avoided the games in the first place.”
  18. “True, but obviously he wasn’t smart, he didn’t do too well in the games, after all, he didn’t win.”
  19. “Don’t call her that!” Rolen said angrily. “She’s much smarter than you’ll ever be. And a whole lot smarter than your so-called ‘smart’ Bob!”
