He took a bite of his own. “It is.” She touched him, entering his body. What is happening?

“So am I.” He grabbed tell bowls and filled them, handing one to her.

“The soups done, I think.” Helda ran to his side. “Tayen! Can you hear me?”

She jumped up, looking around.

“I…yeah. I do.” - - - He smiled back at her. “Together is such a good word.” @Just-A-Stick

“It’s not your fault.” And there’s still a chance to bring him back. There has to be.

“What do you possibly have to be sorry for?” - - - “Probably soon. I wish it wouldn’t be though, I like it when we’re like this.” @Just-A-Stick

“Thank you.” He wrapped an arm around her as they waited.

“Ok.” “I’ll just have some soup too, it’ll probably be easiest in my throat.”

“But why did you do anything? He wasn’t doing anything to you.” Daniel found some and got a fire started to warm it.

“Why did you do that?” Asked Helda.

Daniel led Rex into the cafeteria, which was deserted. That probably had to do with all the strange storms. “Well, what do you want to eat?” He scrambled away, off into the night.

The man gasped in surprise. “I slipped sir, please forgive me.”

“Of course, of course.” The man lunged at Tayen, pulling out a knife.

The man jumped. “Just trying to find a place to rest, good sir.”
