“You are for me. I’m just…not enough.” He wrapped his arms around her.

Thank you, do I need to make it less vague? (To be clear, this is me stating a fact, not arguing) I believe talents range in how vague they are, the more vague the generally more powerful they are.

“You’re perfect,” he said with conviction.

“N…no. It’s not your fault. I’m… I’m the problem here.”

He cupped her cheek in his hand. He was shaking heavily.

He sat next to her, unsure of what to do. He was an idiot. He really should be dead. But she needed him.

He looked at her. This…he had been wrong. She still needed him. For now. He stumbled towards her, placing a hand on her back. “I’m…sorry.”

“That…that…why?”

“…Isn’t it? Aren’t people supposed to be better without me?”

“It…it will. It has to.” “…then you’ll be happier. That’s how this is. I make everything worse, every time.”

“I…I do love you.” He reached his hand out towards hers, then dropped it. “That’s why I have to do this.”

He struggled against them for a moment, then went still.

He finally looked up at her with tear filled eyes. Hated flared in then, and he yanked himself away from the doctor, ducking past the security guards.

He didn’t move to her.

He didn’t look up at her.

Daniel bowed his head, ashamed.

Yeah, probably. TPBM is not currently working on a long term writing project of some kind.

“She shouldn’t want that.”

“She’s wrong.”

“It is.”

“This is for her. It’s better if I’m gone,” he whispered.

He still didn’t say anything, tears streaming from his face.
