Aaron ignored him still, looking down.

Aaron sat in a corner, ignoring everyone else.

He walked that way slowly.

“Not really. I’ve never been good with friends or family. I’m never there when they need me most.”

“No. But maybe I will be, eventually.”

Aaron watches him go. I’m not a killer, right? He looked down at his arms, a dark tan and well muscled. I’m not…but maybe I could be?

Aaron gives a weak smile back. “Thanks.”

“No, I don’t think I am.”

“I’m not a killer,” Aaron said simply.

“I doubt it.”

Aaron gasps, stumbling out from behind the gamemakers. “M…me?”

Do it now. End it. No! I won’t! I’m happy now, I’m wanted, I’m needed, I’m loved. But that will end. It always does. Eventually, you’ll go back to the way you always are. The way you deserve to be. But I’m happy now. I won’t.
