“Make sure you stay hidden and stay safe…and if you see Roy, I wouldn’t hesitate to shoot him too.” He smiled back at her. “Thanks for having my back.”

Edgar just shook his head. What a piece of work. And I still can’t really understand why he hates me so much. I guess it makes sense at the basest level. “It’s ok Jenny, I don’t think he’ll attack is right now, not in the open like this. And he’s probably too afraid of you to try anything when you’re around anyways.”

“No I didn’t! I was using a shield in the first place, you swung your spear at me and I blocked it.”

“What is wrong with you? All I did was defend myself against your attack.”

He kept rubbing her back, trying to comfort her.

“They shouldn’t be. We need to hit the other team with overwhelming force. That means everyone but me and Jane.”
