Weaver of Shadows

My life is filled with circles

 circles around the track

 never fast enough

 circles around what

 I actually mean to say

 why can’t I just say it?

 Circles of band

 knowing the music just

 enough to get by

 then learning the next 

circles of work

 get done with my schoolwork

 procrastinate and  stress

get it done right on time

 no time to relax

hate myself

think I’m ok 

be given reason to hate again

another circle

 so many more

 but most prevalent

 circles of people

 that I circle around

 join a group

 am unwanted

 leave

 repeat

I circle and circle

 no stopping

 I want so bad to belong

 then the one place 

people seem to accept

 even enjoy my presence

 I don’t get to see them

only their words

 yet they’re still the best

 circle I know
