Ephraim checks a vine. It seems like it'll hold, "Here goes nothing!" He swings across, and "SNAP" He falls a little short onto a muddy embankment on the north side of the river. "That was embarrassing... At least I have some rope now." He walks towards the mushrooms due north.

Ephriam makes it to the water's edge. "Shades, too wide and too deep to swim. Perhaps I can use those vines and swing across?..." @Lotus Blossom

Ephraim stopped in his tracks. Assuming that was Saffron, he was far too close to the first claimed shelter. He turns back around and heads North, toward the North Eastern shelter.

Ephraim needed to move. He climbs the tree he had been hiding by. After reaching the canopy, he looks South East towards the Cornucopia. "Too far away to tell if it's safe. But I need resour... wait, is that?" Ephraim squints, climbs back down, and heads toward who he is certain is Saffron.

Ephraim steps out from behind the foliage. Slowly, he slipped the moss-covered stone into a pocket and raises both hands non-threateningly. "I can live with that. Pardon the pun." Ephraim paused momentarily, waiting for a response in what felt like an eternity.

"Fool!" He was sure his throw was true. He looks down in frustration and notices a smooth, moss-covered river rock. He kneels to grab the rock.

Ephraim knelt low, hiding under the foliage and the base of a large tree, when he heard movement from behind him. He spares a glance. "Elsie.." Ephraim closes his eyes and leans back against the tree, his grip tightening around his spear. "Claim the forest, or it'll claim you..." Ephraim opens his eyes, stands up and throws his spear...

Ephraim stands, watching as one of the faceless creatures lunges toward Rask. Ephraim takes a deep breath. "As good an opening as ever." Cautiously and with as much haste as he can muster, he approaches the cornucopia, snatches a spear, slips off the platform, and heads for the river.

Counter: Imagine the sheer delight of delving into the labyrinth of their symbiosis; it’s a spectacle that promises to intrigue. To further add to this merry misfit, we have both his paterfamilias and his dear aunt, two storming bondsmiths! A veritable feast for the gods of irony, wouldn't you agree? But, jesting aside, let us not forget that spren are no mere wisps of power, but sentient portions of investiture. I believe our illustrious Sanderson once mentioned (permit me a moment’s artistic license in paraphrasing) that a self-aware sliver of a Shard could very well possess the resources and the will to return to the realm of the living. My hope, you see, is for a rebirth of their bond, conceived in fresh oaths, perhaps heralding a new, evolved order. Quite the romantic vision, don’t you think?

@Edema Rue, @Experience Got it! I'll search for the previous event threads!

From my understanding, today is the last day to sign up. On a side note, -- as a noob -- Where do the shenanigans commence? I've read through the previous events, which end after signups. I'll head for the closest perpendicularity if necessary!

Name: Ephraim Age (12-18): 16 Gender: Male Preferred District: 4 Alliance (yes or no?): Open to the potential. However, Ephraim's craftiness is a force singular unto itself. Skills: Ephraim is a master of stealth, an adept fisherman (thanks to his district upbringing), and has an uncanny knack for trap setting. To top it all off, he's good with mind games and can weave a tale as easily as drawing breath. Personality: Ephraim is as elusive as an eel, with the wit of a fox. He's charming when he needs to be, cutting when it serves him, and always, always, unpredictable. The lad is also resourceful and street-smart, coupled with a hefty dollop of dry humor. Preferred Weapon: The Trident. A nod to his roots, and an unexpectedly versatile weapon that befits our Ephraim perfectly. Other: Ephraim carries a silver locket, a memento from his past. It holds a picture of his family, a reminder of what he's fighting for. But of course, he never lets anyone know what's inside. A man needs his secrets, no?

LOL! This is easily the most violent compliment I've been paid. So thank you, I think(?)

I just caught this notification and I'm reading through the intro now. I need to catch up on the suggested content to read through, but this sounds like a blast! Should I submit my character sheet in response?

Interactive Map and Timeline of Roshar - Feedback

This is simply fantastic! The dedication and toil invested here are commendable. The UX is top-notch. My only lament is that I hadn't stumbled upon this gem earlier. A storming work of art! -
Nice! I just found the thread containing all unpublished content. Looking forward to digging in (after I finish the Bobiverse series)

I've never gotten my hands on any unpublished works, so I'm unfamiliar. Interest piqued! What is AoN?
