  1. man. you know I'm “hyped up” when I reference endgame text from Pokémon Moon, given the fact that said game is 5 years old by now, most likely y'all no enjoy such a reference. tldr; sidekick calls out their mentally ill mom, who is the main antagonist, then the villain verbally attacks a major game mechanic, the PC system, and the protagonist, a Pokémon trainer. then big fight happens after a horrific transformation sequence, because Jrpg. y’know, for kids. The writers also tried to make the villain more of an anti-hero in the remakes, replacing her with necrozma, the box legendary of the remakes, but it sucked. They should’ve just re-designed the sidekick’s outfit to resemble necro, and moved the foe’s pre-existing vice-esque attraction from the “ultra-beasts” coughbootleg-glitchmoncough in general to the real new big bad, further adding to its “biblically accurate angel” feel, by having it shatter someone’s mind.
