  1. I can hardly believe it myself, and I was there.
  2. Yep. When was the last time you ate a grilled cheese sandwich?
  3. But then... out of nowhere... a dragon attacked...
  4. If I can only fly as fast as I run, then invisibility. If I can fly as fast as I want, then flight. What color is the nearest pen?
  5. By asking, I believe. TPBM is at church.
  6. Nope. I'm done with all my stuff for today. TPBM is TPAM's Shardbuddy.
  7. Steven. Have you read the SA5 prologue?
  8. Kratos, if he counts. Do you play Helldivers 2?
  9. Great choice. Remember, road laws don't apply if Free Bird is playing! What's your favorite D&D class?
  10. Like they knew exactly where we'd be. That was... two days ago, now.
  11. I wish I had the time to teach myself to paint minis. What audiobook did you play?
  12. WotC doesn't ban things, but DM's will if they deem it broken or unfit for the setting.
  13. Opinion of the day #31: a DM is fully within their rights to ban subclasses, items, spells, or anything else that they deem does not fit in their world. The DM is a player too, and as such, should also have fun. For us DM's, trivializing our encounters with flying races, Bag of Holding nukes, and things like that is not fun, and ruins the game for us.

Please, don't be That Guy and purposefully try to exploit and abuse RAW. Being a DM is a lot of work as is.

  14. Adapting official lore and coming up with my own? Yes. Mechanical stuff? No. Not yet. TPBM thinks it's dumb to ban certain subclasses and combos in D&D.
  15. Play it, and hope it's not cursed. WWYDIYF Theon Greyjoy in your pocket?
  16. Translate it and figure out how the heck to reply. WWYDIYF a song in your pocket?
  17. The answer to the second is no (kind of. You can prepare whatever spells you want, as long as they match your caster level). The answer to the first is a little more complex. According to the PHB, as a Cleric, you can prepare a number of spells equal to your Wis modifier+9, your Cleric level. Extra slots can be used to upcast prepared spells or to cast the same spell more than once. So, if you have a Wisdom modifier of +5, you can prepare 14 spells. If it is +4, you can prepare 13 spells. If it is +3, you can prepare 12 spells. If it is +2, you can prepare 11 spells. If it is +1, you can prepare 10 spells.
  18. Absolutely. TPBM doesn't like TikTok, but thinks banning it would be a bad idea.
  19. "As a hitman, who are you usually hired to assassinate?" I'll be gone, come the dark.
  20. Top three! (all from the same dude) 1: "The KJV is the only accurate translation of the Bible." 2: "I don't use Steam because it puts spyware on your PC." 3: "We should just carpet bomb the Gaza Strip with nukes." What game did you play most last year?
  21. To quote one Grog Strongjaw: "I would like to Rage."
  22. I can't remember when I last slept...
  23. I use an extension called Dark Reader on both my phone and my PC, and the Shard has dark mode on both.
