  1. "Clinic!" Aventine tried to say forcefully. "Get more help!"
  2. DG Aventine stayed behind, rolling her own lerasium in her hand. She had not yet committed to burning it. DG Pic supported Pic where he could. DG Exol prepared to throw a bomb - one that could set off a magnetic pulse and, he hoped, remove the Inquisitors' spikes. @Exotic Almond DG TAAron met his other self's eyes and nodded in reassurance. He activated his magic and prepared to face the Inquisitors. @The Aspiring Archivist
  3. The song continued. While Pic covered the bassline and drums, DG Pic covered keys and guitar. While the lower part strengthened their resolve, the higher part seemed to strengthen their magic. @Aeoryi @Edema Rue @The Aspiring Archivist
  4. The group of DGs (and Exol @Exotic Almond) made their way towards Keep Elariel. DG Pic led the way, followed by the Exols. DG TAAron and DG Aventine took up the rear. They avoided the attention of the skaa and nobility. When they arrived at the keep, the guards were still unconscious, but they were beginning to stir. DG TAAron waved them in, and they hurried into the keep. They found the chamber Melody had taken to the basement and followed it. At the splits, DG TAAron told DG Pic to use his music to try to find the others. DG Pic began to hum, and light fell down both chambers @Cash67
  5. DG Ash's mouth tightened. "Wonderful."
  6. Yeah, that was the inspiration. I just played off it a bit.
  7. Basically, the water in the clinic was contaminated so that anyone who drank it got amnesia. I believe the problem has been fixed by now though (right @Edema Rue?) We've got a pretty major scene going on now - Rue, TAAron and Mel (S2 character) are fighting Steel Inquisitors in a different dimension's Luthadel. My character, Aventine, and Jar Man (another S2) are in a warehouse on the same planet, both badly injured. Also, sort-of-doppelgangers
  8. Haha! You know what I'm referencing in S2, right? Also, can't believe I made this but forgot @CalanoCorvus and @The Wandering Wizard. Sorry guys!
  9. I'm on 74 now. From what I've seen of the chickens, I love them. Also, my S2 peeps, I found this on that page about halfway down Is it possible to foreshadow an unscripted roleplay?
  10. "Just... fix him up," Aventine said. "Get to me later." A look of uncertainty in her eyes, DG Ash did so. "What even did this to you guys?"
  11. "If you don't stop doing... that," she indicated to all of him, "I am going to knock you out." "Don't. Just, like, break his leg or something. Knocking him out wouldn't end well." Aventine said. Her back was to Jar Man.
  12. "No. We are staying right here. Put the jar down."
  13. DG Ash shook her head. "Looks like I've got my work cut out for me today..."
  14. Aventine woke up in Keep Erikell. She was in one of her old silk nightgowns. Why did her head hurt so bad? She didn't usually get headaches, especially not ones this painful. Her father, Lord Erikell, stood in the doorway. His very presence taunted her, made her feel weak. Maybe that was why she felt so off. "Wake up. You have an appointment with your fiancé." She'd learned not to protest her father, by this point. It only brought more pain. She went to sit up, and had searing pain shoot through her torso. Was it possible to break ribs in your sleep? Her face contorted, but she didn't make a sound. She was in more pain than normal, yes, but like she'd told Mel, pain was an old friend. She blinked a couple times. What had she been thinking about? It had left her mind immediately. "You're weak. You've always been weak." She bit her lip, holding back tears, but not just from the pain. "I know, Father." "Melody was right. You wouldn't stand a chance against any adversary, much less an Inquisitor." It all started to click. The broken ribs and headache - from the Inquisitor slamming her into the wall. If she were in the keep, she wouldn't have met Melody, or anyone from the Clinic. She wouldn't hurt this bad."This isn't real." "What was that?" Aventine glared at Erikell. "This. Isn't. Real." The lord approached, a belt in hand. "This is more real than you can possibly imagine." "Oh yeah? Watch this." Aventine smirked. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aventine woke up and groaned in pain. She was in the warehouse in DG Luthadel, where the DGs Ash, Pic, Ave, Exol, and real Exol had hidden with her and Jar Man. DG TAAron joined them now. He knelt down next to her. "Are you-" "I'll be fine - eventually. You guys need to get to Keep Elariel. People are in trouble. "Ash, keep things under control here. Pic, both Exols, and the non-injured Aventine, come with me," DG TAAron ordered. "We've got people to help." @Exotic Almond
  15. I've been reading season one lately and...
