    "Yeah. Misti- Mistborn." "Wow, look at you!" she said, mockingly sounding like a parent congratulating a two-year-old on their art skills. "You're learning!"

    "I doubt she does." She muttered, "Not around other people. Not yet." She sat on her bed. "I'm sure there is. I'm not familiar with any way apart from Snapping, though, and I'd rather not mentally scar you."

    "See, but we're trying to keep you away from that stuff, is the problem." She looked at the limp Jinx in Addison's arms. Her mind seemed elsewhere. "Sometimes things have a certain trigger. Even when someone you care about activates it... habit kicks in." She started rubbing her wrist.

    "And why would she hate you? Clearly she didn't react well to any of us... except maybe Tal. But it's hard not to like him."

    "I don't think she hates any of us, really. Fear is a powerful thing." She said this knowingly, as well. "Just face it. Whenever I've dumped on you - and he does listen - you immediately start loading on the person you're talking with."

    "Pic recently told me the same thing, right after he helped me through something really hard for me. He said that his helping wasn't always reliable and he wasn't even ever thanked for his effort. Even if it doesn't work, your heart was in the right place. That's what matters to me, if not anyone else."

    "The way she just reacted? We should probably try to restrain her as little as possible. We don't know when she's going to wake up, and based on how she was just acting, how much worse would it be if she's tied up when she does?"

    She sighed and looked at Pic. "Looks like Ash has some more work cut out for her. Can you get the staves around my legs again?" She turned to Addison. "And can you help carry her to the med wing?" @Cash67 @Weaver of Lights
