    “I said-“ She paused for a moment and swallowed the lump in her throat. “I said that I shouldn’t have told you to go off on your own. You got hurt. I’m so sorry, and I hope you can forgive me.”

    We should stop asking people if they are happy with life. The word “happy” comes from “happenstance”, which means it can change from moment to moment. You can be happy one moment, yet devastated the next.

    Ask people if they are satisfied or at peace. If they were to die in five minutes, what would their biggest regret be? What would their legacy be?

    Am I happy in this moment? I’d say so. But more importantly, I am satisfied. If I were to die today, my biggest regret would be that I didn’t lead more people to Jesus. I think my legacy would be that I try to make people smile and laugh.

    And honestly, that’s one of the greatest legacies I can imagine. Sure, there are people and admittedly things that I wouldn’t want to leave behind. But I look more forward to eternity than carnal life on Earth.
