Jolane sat bolt upright at the loud sound. Naise looked up at her, then into the village. "That's coming from the inn..." Jolane said.

"Halt!" A person dressed in knight armor, presumably a Gym Trainer, stopped him. "If thou wishest to seek my lady, thou must defeat me in combat!"

She giggled and jumped up and down while clapping. "Yay! I'll be a princess! Come rescue me!" She darted off towards one of the castle towers.

It was nearly sunset. Naise sat in a flower field, braiding her little sisters hair. She put some flowers in the pleats as well. Her husband sat talking with her parents on the porch. Both Jolane and Naise felt a peace and completeness at their reunion.

The Gym was modeled after the castle of a fairy princess. The drawbridge (yes, there was a drawbridge because wynaut) was lowered.

Each house looked like a large dollhouse, not in a creepy way. Flebébé, Floette, and Florges tended to flower beds all around the city alongside Comfee. Fidough and Slurpuff walked in and out of a bakery with deliveries, and Alcremie worked inside. Fairy-types were everywhere.

“As in, there is, but I don’t know for sure where it is. I've never had to use it.” @J. Magi ~~~ Jolane tied the horse to a fence post near the small house. She could unpack the saddle bags later. Her mother led her inside and sat next to her on a small couch, holding her close and sighing in relief and joy. The house smelled just like her blanket did. Her hand rubbed over her daughter's branded wrist. Jolane's shoulders stiffened as her mother pulled back the sleeve to reveal the mark. "Oh, dear..." Vedette (that's her name now) said. She rose and got a basket from across the room, then sat over by her daughter again. Jolane watched as she removed a needle, thread, and cloth from the basket. The cloth was the same as the one that made her blanket. Vedette wrapped the cloth around her arm and carefully began to sew where the fabric overlapped. It wasn't long before the cloth cuff was complete and completely covered the brand. Jolane brought her arm into herself and rubbed the cuff gently. "Thank you." Vedette smiled and held her daughter to her side again.
