She looked at him and remembered their talk on the mountain. She took Aela @Through The Living Glass and went over to him. She set a hand on his back gently.

They haven't spoken yet.

She scooted closer to him and leaned against him.

She winced and kept working.

She still seemed tense and scared, and not just from this.

"Asteroid - I'm sorry, I must have dozed off-"

She quickly and barely put her head slightly to the side.

Hey you could probably use this too!

She jumped. She must have dozed off at her post- she couldn't do that again. She went into overtime course correction to get the ship out of the asteroid's path.

Guards escorted Taylor and Zera to their own carriage, separate from the king's. The king and a few of his concubines went into the same carriage as the two other girls had, while the top two and the rest of the concubines entered a separate carriage.

Komat was elsewhere in the crowd so he didn't bring suspicion on her.

Komat grimaced and looked away. King Ivor saw him and smirked a small bit. She held it for a couple of seconds before pulling back slowly. She held his gaze.

She smiled a bit and leaned forward.

The religious ceremony happens. To @Wierdo it doesn't feel like what he is "supposed" to believe in. "You may kiss the bride." She sighed a tiny bit and turned to Taylor.

"I know," she said quietly.

She smiled at him, but it didn't quite reach her eyes. They'd talked about this over the last week, but it still felt weird to her. She wasn't uncomfortable with his plan - she supported it - but getting married to him, even with the king's priest, felt strange.

There were murmurs of headaches throughout the town, though those complaints soon disappeared. The people were, once again, gathered in the square. This time, the king and all ten of his concubines sat at the back of the raised platform, facing the people. Those who got there early enough would have seen the ten arguing about who got to sit next to the king, but the top two concubines were the ones the king had sit next to him. One of the king's priests stood on the platform with the princess and Taylor, officiating a wedding between the two. (@Clinically insane if you want to RP the ceremony we can or we can skip past it). Zera didn't seem relaxed or stressed to the crowd, but Taylor could see that she was tense. @TwinStorm During the ceremony, two teenage girls were removed from the crowd and taken to the king's carriage. @Through The Living Glass @Clinically insane @SpiritOfWrath Komat attended, but stayed away from them and Cris. He seemed nervous the whole time and watched Zera.

Something my mom told me years ago is to make a grocery list alphabetically in your head. You’d start at A and name everything you can think of that starts with A that you can buy at a grocery store (think something more like a super or hypermarché than the smaller specialty shops for this). Like in English I would think “Apple, avocado, asparagus-“ and keep going until I ran out of A’s, then move to B and so on Hey! @Exotic Almond also plays horn!
