    Elsewhere.... The being arrived at its home. It removed its presence-covering cloak, but still, their face was covered in shadows, except for their mouth, which was curled in a smirk. At least, it was, until their boss began to speak. "They're dying. Someone is killing them." They began to grimace. This couldn't be good for them.

    Aventine shook her head, throwing her hands in the air. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a darkness begin to spread - not a shadow, exactly, but like something had been glowing and wasn't anymore. A few seconds later, a grinding began. "What in the name of the Lord Ruler is that?!"

    Random Hallway Aventine stared in horror. "That was... almost as terrifying.. as the mass executions the Lord Ruler had... Not the goat, but that was creepy too. You are a menace to society."

    Are we even in the basement at this point? IDEK Aventine had been rioting everyone's anger and self-confidence the whole time. She had never really been trained for combat, but she could help in other ways.
