Through the Living Hope

I want to preface this by saying that I’m not looking for sympathy or anything, it truly is just an update

About two weeks ago, my family found out that the store where my mom works is closing. She thinks they raised her rent. Their last day of business is Wednesday.

When I was little, this store had three locations in the state. With this one closing, that’ll be all three of them gone. She’s been with this brand for 17 years, literally as long as I can remember.

The company that owns that brand also owns JC Penney, and she got an offer for a position there. She’s probably going to take that, at least temporarily.

I know someday we’re going to look back and laugh that we were worried. I know God will take care of us and someday this’ll make sense. Today isn’t that day.
