      Playing Umbridge was honestly a MASSIVE highlight of last year, just that feeling of walking onto a stage and hearing a whole bunch of gasps followed by furious booing

      Honestly, the power move lol

      I’ve got to say, my favorite professors are McGonagall, Flitwick, Lupin, (Dumbledore if we’re counting him), and Snape, but specifically OotP and Hogwarts Mystery Snape. He’s definitely not perfect, especially the way he treats students and the way he’s Neville’s worst fear despite what Neville’s been through - I’m not ignoring the creepy parts of his relationship with Lily, either. But in OotP, he teaches Harry Occlumency (and he teaches the player character Occlumency and Legilimency in Hogwarts Mystery, as well) on Dumbledore’s orders, and I like that even if he’s still jerky about it he does something that will ultimately protect Harry. Plus, he tried to stop Quirrel from killing Harry and stealing the Stone. Snape isn’t a good person necessarily, but he isn’t bad

      “How long have you been teaching at Hogwarts?” Professor Umbridge asked.

      “Thirty-nine years this December,” said Professor McGonagall brusquely, snapping her bag shut.

      Professor Umbridge made a note.

      “Very well,” she said, “you will receive the results of your inspection in ten days’ time.”

      “I can hardly wait,” said Professor McGonagall in a coldly indifferent voice, and she strode off toward the door. “Hurry up, you three,” she added, sweeping Harry, Ron, and Hermione before her. Harry could not help giving her a faint smile and could have sworn he received one in return.

      McGonagall is a flippin QUEEN
