Through the Living Hope

Life update:

Band trip went well. Got late Christmas gifts from my mom's parents and got to ride home with my dad. We listened to music and just talked, and it was really nice. That same night my sibling had an orchestra concert so it was a busy day but a fun kind of busy. We got dinner after (I wasn't really hungry, so I just had ice cream).

I have two orchestra concerts this month (we're playing the same music for both), and next month we do a tour of a few elementary schools in town where we play different things we played during the year for elementary school students. We also get to give a few third graders a five-minute mini lesson (in my town, strings starts in fourth grade).

I won't be very active on my birthday. I plan on spending the day with my family. Currently planning to go to the same zoo we went to for about nine years pre-Covid and having some amaaazing tacos for dinner from a local restaurant. My grandma also gets back from being a travel guide on my birthday so I'll probably get to see her and my grandpa, too.
