"Why do I need to get cleaAAAAAHHHHH!!" he screams as he notices the "ketchup"

As they step through Almond awakes and immediately looks around. "Aventine? Elan? What happened? I remember getting really angry and then..." It is at this point that you notice half of him did not go back to normal.

"Thanks but, I should check for survivors and free the other prisoners. I'll lead them out a different way."

"Me too. But, I kinda saved him? he seems normal."

"No! It's a trick!" He squarms away and tries to attack Kano who summons a watermelon in self defense knocking Almond out. "Oops. Umm, I think he'll be fine. Probably." Without the rage to sustain it Almond's fur leeches back to normal.

He doesn't seem to hear. In his frenzy he's just clawing at the air in front of her face. "ijgiwhfvihwfdivnwiof!!"

"More? I thought you all ran. Well then perish with the rest!" he rushes forward and you can see his fur stained with "ketchup" especially around his paws and mouth. "You mistborn sellout!" he screams as he lunges for Aventine.

They start to hear sounds. "Noo! I'm not a guard don't... AAAAAHHH!!" "You will pay for your crimes!" Kano (right?) looks at Aventine "You sure about this. We could still leave."

"Welp, let's go then." He leaves towards the carnage.

"Well, they're in vials. If not there's a storage room farther this way."

"All over. I think he got all the mistborn."

"No, but I can do this." He snaps his fingers and a watermelon appears over the ground and smashes to a bajillion pieces.

He pales "You sure? I mean... he's kinda murdery." He looks terrified at the thought "Well, I guess he's your friend. Sure."

"Welp, where next? You wanna escape?"

Aventine finds all of the non-magical items they had on them plus Almond's staff labelled "too dangerous-burn"

"Yeah. He was. I don't mind that he was killed so much how he was killed and by whom." They arrive at the incinerator. "Ta-da the incinerator. This is where they burn useless personal possessions. They won't have burned your stuff yet though."

"Well, I hope we don't see him. He killed Boberemy Mcjoe in your cell. He's the highest ranking mistborn solider."

As they walk it gets worse. Almost as if the guards and even some prisoners tried to run farther down only to die in a pile. "So, your friend. He's not normally like this right?"

"Alright let's get going." He starts down the bloody hall with strange noises and screaming coming down from it. "Let's be quick though."

"Kano. It feels good to say that."

"Fine, let's just be careful. He probably wouldn't like me."

"Can't you get another one? I mean he's that way and he's really scary."

He looks up "Sounds like he's had a rough time." "Oh they're just to... the... right. Maybe we don't go that way."

"It is much worse than that,they take your literal soul to extract your magic but, it's still connected to you in some way so they have to keep you alive in a constant vegetative state in pain." Hmm, not seeing much else.

It's abilities are unknown although it has shown that it can feel empathy towards other entities. More study scheduled for tomorrow. Possibility of extraction for use in a super-soldier serum pending." He looks up "Eesh, they were gonna extract you? That's like, the worst they can do down here. Worse than death."
