    "Okay." She seemed content to do so. It was getting dark, after all, and fighting that panther had been far more draining than she'd thought it would be. "How about in one of these trees?"

    "I think so. Kinda weird...? Like... like it's hard to keep my eyes open. Like when you gave me that flower."

    She looked up at him, puzzled, still kneeling. “What do you mean?”

    She used it sparingly, then wrapped his other shoulder too. Again, her touch soothed the pain there, but it didn’t seem intentional. “There. Better?”

    She eventually finished and tied off the bandage, smoothing it. Something about her touch soothed the pain. Then she moved to the other side. it’s kinda fun to experiment and see what she can and can’t do with her magic

    “You just wrap it around like this, right?” She wrapped the bandages firmly around his shoulder, making sure to also be gentle. She thanked him.

    She squeaked and shook it off her.

    After a second, Corysande took the bandages from him. “Let me help you before you hurt yourself.”

    She picked it up and put it in her pocket. “Are you sure?”

    im at the orthodontist rn but i don’t wanna go back to school

    i just have choir and study hall anyway

    i do wanna see my friends tho

    and i do need to work on my english project…

    “I think I’ll live,” she said. “You need to get this figured out.” She reached up and gently touched his wounds. bold isn’t working again

    Well, it seemed good enough to her, especially once she couldn’t see herself actively bleeding out. She’d never gotten a good look at him before, and somehow it felt really… intimate. She noticed a little crease between his brows from concentration, and she also noticed how his hair was kind of curly, and how his eyes were pale like that (uh i was going off of what i remember from when u described him but please correct me if that’s inaccurate lol). He was kind of like the human rendition of nature. Gentle, centered, focused. His calmness stilled her, and though the pain lingered, the panic was less. She didn’t know how he could stay so calm in a situation like that. Then she noticed he was bleeding from his shoulders and frowned. “Are you okay?”

    "I don't wanna die." Tears--also notably silver-ish--welled up in her eyes. She was losing a lot of blood, fast.

    "I don't know how!"

    "I got cursed too," she told him. "I got cursed too. That's why I thought I was gonna die when you gave me that flower."

    She hesitated, stumbling. "Well...... that's the thing."

    She looked up at him, feeling panicked. She'd never really felt pain before, not like this. Her face twisted. "I don't know. I'm scared."
