    Rue looked at the writing, then at TAAron. “I’ll come back for them,” she said. “You need to get back to the clinic.”

    Rue nodded somberly. She walked forward, shoving the Aes Sedai aside with a thread of air. “Control your Warder, green, “ she hissed.

    “Yup,” she said. “Do you…can you walk?”

    Rue stood up quickly. “Don’t do that,” she snapped. “It was inconvenient. Let’s go.” She glared at the Aes Sedai, who stepped nervously to the side.

    Rue knelt next to him, heart pounding. Weak...too weak...can't save any of them... She tried again to Heal him, wishing she could do more, do it better.

    Rue stands in front of him, keeping their attackers back. "Can you stand?" She asks quickly. "I can't make a gateway until we're out of the tower."

    Rue hissed, breaking through the shield on the power and rushing over to him, trying to Heal him and throwing the warder back with a wave of Air.

    "Hush, spirit," Siylna says sharply.

    The Warder stabbed him in the gut. Rue gasped, freezing, trying to shove down the panic.

    Rue backs away from all of them. The Warder and Aes Sedai continue to attack.

    Rue reached out to catch the sword with the power, but the Aes Sedai slammed a shield between her and the power. She hissed, moving behind TAAron.

    Rue also skidded to a stop. The Aes Sedai cursed. "There's more? Light, this could be bad..." The Warder swings.
