    They don't stop. The yelling gets louder. The rocks get bigger.

    At the appearance of the embers, the mob grew restless...more angry and more afraid at the same time. Voices started calling out, screaming for them to leave, and then there were dozens of them and the words yielded to an indistinguishable roar. Someone, then several someone's, started throwing rocks.

    None of them moved, but they looked furious. Or…somewhere between furious and terrified. Either way, it was clear that one wrong move would get someone killed.

    Pete looked around hesitantly. “Fine,” he growled. “But ye‘ve got 5 minutes” Tal glanced at the paper, nervous. A small fire coiled up his arm amidst laughter in his mind. Shut up shut up get out stop it!

    Tal's World Pete and a group of villagers appear, holding pitchforks, shovels, sticks, and even pots and pans. "Get out!" Pete calls, and a cheer answers him. @shortcake @Spark of Hope

    Tal stepped into the room, then sat down. There wasn't anything he could do, but if it got worse, he was available. We could destroy both of them. We aren't hurting anyone. But think how easy it would be... Find another tool. But you dance so beautifully... I'm going to destroy you. That's the spirit.

    I forgot how much I love My Name is Asher Lev until last night, it's a beautiful book. 

    We close tonight.

    I'll cry a lot. Maybe you'll get a poem or something. Maybe you'll just get silence for a while. We'll see.

    On a related note, though, I just found out I have auditions next Monday. Big ones. One of the classes I want to get into is only accepting 20 people, the other 15. And of those 15, 9 get to go on our big fun trip to the Shakespeare festival in Cedar City. It's a little terrifying. 

    I have to memorize a dramatic contemporary monologue, a humorous shakespeare monologue, and 32 bars of a broadway song that furthers the plot of the musical. I also have to write a work resume, a play resume, and come with a headshot and sheet music (all printed).

    On top of all this, there's also regular school, big tests, homework, trying to convince people I'm not a nerd, trying to get a couple jobs this summer, not die, keep my mental health alive, etc. etc.

    Am I stressed?

    Why, yes. How did you know?

    Anyway, I'll be here pretty sporadically. If I poof for a bit, sorry. Hope you're all doing well.

    Tal gave her a quick smile. "I'll figure it out, Sunny. I promise. But depending on who this is, the clinic could be in danger. This is more important right now."

    *hugs* that was so sweet and sad. It really does hurt... I do the same thing with rocks, shells, leaves, whatever. My grandpa (who died before I was born) used to collect and label them, and in...2018, I think, I started doing it too. Now I have shelves and shelves of them.
