    Marilyn watched for a while until she couldn't stand it any more. She shifted to be smaller and slipped behind him and shifted to be big pulling him away from Fadran.

    Marilyn watched as the group went through the portal. I wish I were someone else... Oh. Wait. Her hair shifted from red to brown and became very curly. Her eyes faded from green to brown. She grew a little shorter and yet looked a couple years older. She smiled and ran through the portal following the group but doing her best to stay out of sight.

    Marilyn sighed. "Welp. I tried." She started to walk off toward her room. Then stopped and turned. "I wish that I could help you get your brother back. But I need to cool off after arguing or I'll just be an annoying arguing nuisance the entire time. And you should do what you can to get him back as soon as possible."

    Marilyn got up. She was too restless after arguing to sit still. She walked over to Cufre. "You said it wouldn't be the best idea to kill them right?"

    Marilyn made a face. "But if the point of not killing them is to protect the boy isn't better to just not kill any of them?"

    Marilyn smiles slightly. "Took me a while to find it. It helped that I've technically faked death about... oh... six times I think. You see that people eventually heal and the world moves on. But there's still plenty to do before that, plenty of things we need you for."
