  1. The amount of investiture in a human soul also changes from planet to planet. But I think that your average human does not contain that much investiture. Maybe like 5 broams to a BEU?
  2. I really like the Sebruki theory, I feel it could really fit with her character.
  3. Thats true, ill see if i can find a WOB here: darniil Shadows for Silence, cosmere-wise timeline where does that fall with the rest of the books? Brandon Sanderson Shadows for Silence, cosmere timeline, where does it fall with the rest of the books. It is middle cosmere, a little on the late side but not-- I mean, it is pre-Stormlight Archive, so yeah. JordanCon 2014 (April 11, 2014)
  4. Isn’t Sunlit far in the in the future? I feel like it was mentioned that none of bridge four would be alive, and they have stormlight.
  5. I see your point, mercy does fit. I agree that Valor would be a stretch. Wasn’t Ambition splintered before they left threnody though? They mention the evil and if I recall correctly Ambition was splintered before the evil occurred.
  6. I think it is most likely to be endowment, and of all the shards we know, I feel like Mercy is one of the least likely shards for it to be. There is still a shard that we do not know, so it might be that.
  7. I don’t think the planet is charging. I think that there might be two contesting shard’s investiture, one invested in the planet and one in the sun. The different investitures might react and produce heat when they are pushed together. We know that something is drawing the heat from the sun into the core and letting the ground harden (almost definitely god metal). Perhaps the god metal uses the heat to recharge and then uses that energy to push back the other investiture. The sun might be Autonomy’s and I have no idea what the planet would be. I think that I might just be an experiment by invention. Edit: It seems like I do think it is charging. After reading my post I now agree. I think it is charging off of the heat.
  8. I think that a bondsmith and a half dozen other radiants could beat one. The god king definitely could. If they were in Elantris I bet as few as 3 or 4 elantrians could beat one. It would depend on if they could prepare.
  9. I think that the energy is flowing from the sun to the planet. It is said that the heat is generated by the atmosphere's resistance to conducting Investiture, and he was beyond the atmosphere.
  10. I took it as wishful thinking, it explains why he discounted it so quickly.
  11. How was it hinting? I did not get the from it.
  12. I think I remember that it was confirmed that there are no shards on the planet. They could still be in the sun, but Ambition was splintered and I think that Odium would have destroyed any places where Ambition was invested. There is definitely an invested core in the planet. We also know that Invested metal returns to the place it is invested when destroyed, like in the pits of hathsin. That would let the invested metal remain at the planet's centre without shrinking. The planet also might just be shrinking, we don't know how long it has been there. Perhaps the planet was a trap like how Preservation trapped Ruin and the sun was created to burn away the Investiture before it can gain sentience. Edit: There was no confirmation that the shards are not there. I imagine that it was either created as a sort of battery or as a place for a shard to hide. It could also be an experiment by Invention.
  13. I see, that makes sense, I guess I just jumped on the firsts available number to find out his Skip capacity.
  14. I love the fabrials in stormlight. There are so many creative applications that they could apply.
  15. I've read everything exept elantris, I own it but haven't started yet. Edit: and white sand
  16. It is possible, we only know that it grants connection to the cosmere
  17. I wonder if being connected to everything is some of the reason that Sig cannot be violent. Perhaps the investiture sees all living beings as part of him and tries to stop him hurting them? Minor thing, but at the start of the book, when he has 8 percent skip capacity, Aux says it is 1500 BEUs. If that is 8 percent then there would be 17850 BEUs to skip.
  18. Letting you all know I exist.
  19. I think that it may be looking back on to what happens on Roshar with Dalinar. He slaughtered his way across the land and eventually conquered all of Alethkar, but what he had was not a kingdom, but a bunch of squabbling princedoms. But now, Dalinar has been trying to unify, not conquer. I think that this brought back to Sig Dalinar's campaign to unite the world, and how similar the Cinder King's goal was to Dalinar's first goal when he conquered Alethkar
  20. I think it was mentioned that Hoid was wearing a blue coat, reminiscent or identical the the windrunners. Sig also wanted to belive it was Kal as (presumably) he hasn't seen him since he left Roshar.
