    Terrance exited the shop. This time he only went just far enough to vanish before crumpling to the ground. He began to shake and sob, though he didn't know exactly why.

    Terrance forcefully removed himself from his conversation with Jace, and began walking away in a direction that happened to bring him past Elsie.
