    "Oh. Yeah. ...Who was it?"

    TAAron waited curiously.

    "What are you going to do now?"

    He shrugged. "I know. But it can mean different things. We're here for you, alright?"

    "Ah. I'm sorry."

    "How about you?"

    "Not too much. Lots of reading. I do still consider myself a scholar, even... after everything."

    TAAron nodded slowly. "What was Lerac doing?"

    TAAron looked over to her. "Hey. Is everything alright?"

    Lerac said nothing, mostly because he didn't know what there was to say.

    Lerac recollected the light in his hand, and then it vanished.

    TAAron looked melancholy himself. "I'm... scared." @The Halcyon Girl

    He took her hand. The feeling slowly began to fade, but so did her memory of what the connection had felt like. She could remember having it, but what it had actually been like to share in his thoughts and emotions that way was lost to her, like a dream after waking up.

    "I didn't really mean to cut the connection... I was just trying to get out of that state. Are you okay?"

    "I'm not sure. I don't understand what's going on. But I can't let it... do whatever is doing."

    He did not immediately respond, but when his eyes opened, she felt a horrible tearing, like a piece of her was being ripped away. She realized it was the connection to TAAron being cut, leaving an emptiness in the space she hadn't know it took up. TAAron blinked dazedly. "Haly... I'm sorry. It was trying to freeze in place around me. I had to cut it off."

    Eventually, the points began vanishing one by one as Turing left

    After a moment, TAAron seemed to quietly slip away, his eyes closing and faint golden lights speeding around him like before.

    "Yeah, that makes sense. There's just so many magical abilities around here that people use to fight, it's kind of funny to just see... a gun."
