    Cool, that's actually quite helpful. I do realize now that the way I phrased my question was pretty blunt. I'm not the most socially adept person, so that can sometimes be an issue with me. Thanks for letting me know that it bothered you. I had no ill intent by it.

    I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be condescending. I'm more trying to understand it, and I'm asking questions because it confuses me. I have nothing against romance at all, and I don't think it's a bad thing that you feel the way you do. I just think it's interesting that the thing you enjoy sounds like it would cause a lot of anxiety, for me at least.
