    "LET US GO!" TAAron bellowed. The light around him grew brighter, and each one of the Warders and Aes Sedai felt a powerful pain in their minds.

    "Let us go." An intense pain filled their minds, and the light around him shifted to violet.

    "We will return it when we are done. And I have not done anything drastic because I have no reason to, as of yet." He said the last words with a strained tone.

    TAAron stepped toward them, challenge in his eyes. "I could destroy you all," he whispered, "so easily." Light rose from his skin.

    "I'm not. I have a lot of magical energy, and I haven't been badly injured with it before. It seems like I can keep myself stable for a while."

    "I'll be fine," he said confidently. "It hurts, but it won't get worse."
