    He grunted as he hit the ground. He promptly was engulfed in faint golden light that help illuminate his surroundings. "Rue?"

    TAAron cried out in alarm. "Rue!" He immediately began to investigate the spot where she had fallen, trying to step on it himself.

    "I am sorry. But is there not, perhaps, a group of people who protect from harm as well?"

    TAAron watched her for a long while, before looking back out around the forest.

    They wandered for a while. TAAron didn't say much, but he found that he was somewhat enjoying himself. It was nice to just walk with someone. Simple, in contrast to the chaotic mess they had left behind.
