    TAAron chuckled softly. Out of curiosity, he took a lot at the connections in the place. He was caught off guard when he saw that the space was completely overwhelmed by light before remembering that he held the hive. Blocking out those lines, he focused on the ones surrounding Elan.

    TAAron watched with slight amusement.

    "Whose ship is it?"

    "That's relative. Anyway, a lot of different fundamental systems of the universe conflict in places like this. Weird things happen. But from what I can understand, my abilities are very isolated, just like the world they came from."

    He shrugged. "You might be right. But it would be approximately the same amount of change in space as would be created by me walking onto the ship. Is it really that sensitive?"

    "I'm the sole holder of my magic. I think I understand it fairly well. It doesn't directly interact with any other magic and generally operates pretty cleanly. I wouldn't make a spatial rift like he did, I would just modify my personal connection to space."

    "If there's anything my magic is exceptional at, it's not having interactions with other things."

    "I didn't open it. If I had teleported here, your ship would have been fine." He silently wondered why she was smiling so much.

    "Sorry. I didn't know where we were going." He examined the damaged parts of the ship.

    TAAron looked around the ship. "Where did this come from?"

    "So, uh... What are you planning to do on this planet?"

    "It's a mixed bag. But I don't really want to live forever."

    "I'm... trying to find a way out of it."

    He wasn't sure how to take that reaction.

    He sighed. "Long story short, I ascended to godhood."

    "In order to defeat them, I killed the Queen of the hive. And she killed me, so to avoid being dead..." He was hesitant to say the next part.

    "Uh... there have been some recent changes. You might recall the army that was attacking the Clinic earlier?"

    TAAron nodded. "What are you all doing here?"

    TAAron waved. "I'm TAAron. Nice to meet you all."
