  1. You had the illusion of choice to become a tool. It wasn't really an option, and you were in some way under their control. I think you have changed. Would you choose to go with them now? Go back to thoughtlessly seeking power?
  2. You were manipulated into it. Clearly they don't see it as a choice. And it doesn't matter what you chose before, anyway. You've changed now. Remember what you said about what I did?
  3. No. Absolutely not. Maybe once, but not anymore. You are no one's tool.
  4. He dropped down next to her and held her tight, looking at the men hatefully.
  5. "SHE IS NOT A TOOL!" As Tayen signed, he shouted the words, which came out mangled and indistinct but clearly angry.
  6. She is a person! You have no right to control her.
  7. She found me, intending to use me to help her reach whatever goal you gave her. And I did not ruin her. I helped her. She's happy now.
  8. I helped her find herself.
  9. Tayen allowed himself to be taken, but was clearly wary of the men.
  10. He pulled back slightly and signed for only her to see. We'll figure this out. I promise, you won't have to go back to how it was before I found you.
  11. It will be enough if I am with you. And I don't think I could stand to be without. He embraced her.
  12. I won't leave you now! I'm going with you.
  13. He turned to Helda again, expression a mixture of anger and panic.
  14. Can... I come with her?
  15. Why? How?
  16. ...What will you do?
  17. Let's go, Helda. Please.
  18. She can do what she wants!
  19. No. She's past that. She's her own person. He turned to look at Helda. What should we do?
  20. What would you make her do?
  21. No. He stood in front of her protectively. Leave her alone.
  22. What do you want with her?
  23. Who are you? He signed to the man.
  24. Tayen looked at her. Do you know him?
