Terrance couldn't help but feel a bit worried. Given Elsie's many associations by way of her mother, that dream could mean something very bad was on the horizon. "Can you describe the dream to me? What did the voice say, and sound like?"

"Not necessarily. Sometimes it's metaphorical, or just meant to scare you, or it could mean nothing at all."

He once again went silent.

"...Are you okay?"

"I wouldn't discount things so quickly."

He frowned.

"Well, I'm sure that can contribute. But nightmares are much more common for us, and tend to have real meanings sometimes."

"That happens a lot with half-bloods."

"Nightmare?"

Terrance jumped, getting smacked by her flailing arms. He quickly put some more distance between them.

Terrance decided there was no point in moving.
