  1. She sighed, then held up the police badge. "This is a tether. It Connects his spirit to the physical world, making him a poltergeist. A ghost that can move objects. If someone like me touches the tether, he loses his power and becomes a regular ghost. It's... complicated." Enrik scuttled back up onto her shoulder.
  2. that sounds so fun lowkey okok my turn so my little sister (12) likes to play with these two little girls in our neighborhood, a 9 y/o & a 6 y/o. anyways we went out to eat one time and we took them with us. and on the way home, we saw one of the old men in our neighborhood (i can't remember if he was power-walking or jogging but you get the idea) and the 6 y/o goes "dang that man is HAWT " (with the emoji too. i swear.) and the 9 y/o goes "that's a grandpa!" and then the 6 y/o goes "that's not a grandpa, that's a hottie " she's six years old
  3. Lillian grabbed it. The rattling stopped, and several pencils headed towards her fell to the floor. "Poltergeist," she explained. "Franz Cake... he became a poltergeist after he died. This is his tether." She held up the police badge. - "Hrmph."
  4. yeah he can find it "Any luck?" - The bird stuck out his tongue at Holt.
  5. *hug* yeah it's complicated that's very well-said it's not about following x rule or y rule but more about becoming closer to God i can't remember which apostle said this but there are two great commandments in the church (love God and love others) at the end of the day, that's what really matters it's about growing to become all that God knows you can be
  6. "I'll explain--" She ducked as a pencil flew towards her face. "--in a second." - The bird fluttered down and landed on Corysande's shoulder. "Hmph." @Kajsa
  7. The Bachelor's degree that Lillian had just fixed flew off the wall, missing her head by inches. "Keep looking over there. You're close." The drawer she was looking through started rattling. - "AHHHHH--" The bird screamed. "It was very rude. Haven't you ever seen Mary Poppins? Feed the birds. Well, I'm hungry. So feed me."
  8. She shrugged. "I suppose it doesn't really matter. I was just curious..." She rifled through a drawer. A bird landed on his face. "Hello. I'm hungry. Feed me."
  9. "You can touch things?" She asked, straightening one of the pictures on the wall. It was a Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition.

  11. One of the flowers was alive. "Hello there!"
  12. because p o t a t o e s also good job being productive
  13. "I don't know," she replied. "This room is as far as I know." hmhmhmhm ok so the badge is hidden inside a cut-out book but i don't want him to find it right away bc some stuff needs to happen first but if he starts investigating at the toppled bookshelf lmk It's okay. Jay was like Elsa, and the cold didn't bother him anyway. - Enrik scuttled around the room, sniffing.
  14. hmm . . . okay sounds good! i got plenty *gives potato*
  15. Lillian didn't respond. "Enrik, look around." The rat plopped off her shoulder and gave @Halcyon The Only's character a final glare.
  16. yeah i agree with this God knows what's best for you president oaks didn't serve a mission and that never diminished his faith pray about it, but if you really feel like a mission isn't what you're supposed to do, then don't do it don't try to live someone else's life, your path is your own
  17. "No." She stared at the door for a long minute, before grabbing the handle. CRASH! She pulled the door open. The office was a mess--papers strewn about, picture frames hanging from a single corner, and a massive bookshelf, toppled to the ground, lying directly in their path.
  18. "They're cute, but they're not exactly great conversation partners," she said, stopping in front of a door. "This is it."
  19. She smiled and stroked Enrik. "You ever tried talking to a rat?"
  20. "I've been on my own for as long as I can remember," she said. "It's always nice to have someone else around."
  21. "It must get lonely," she said, walking down the hallway and reading the plaques next to each door.
  22. "Hidden badge," she said. "Cake was extremely protective of it." She looked toward the stairs and started walking. "So... what do you do all day? I find it hard to believe that you've been sitting around for fifty years waiting for someone to come talk to you."
