    Haly: sniffs, lifts her head, and gazes over at the bookshelf where her Sanderson books are stacked, then falls back into melodramatic wails, writhing with pain and wracked with torment

    Haly: whimpers, but walks down the hall toward her room and cries on her bed, decides it’s not dramatic enough, and escalates it to wails—loud wails

    Haly: stands there unseeingly, tears running down her cheeks Haly: bows her head “No. it was an explanation of surprise. I’m..” chokes on the words “I’m sorry.”

    Haly: jumps up, popcorn marshmallows vanishing, and reads the flyer over Thaidakar’s shoulder and shreiks “WHAT? BUT I NEED THOSE BOOKS! YOU CANT DO THAT!”

    Haly: gropes in the air beside the bowl and comes up with a handful of popcorn, which she crunches noisily

    Haly: “Ooh! I love tough talk!” Starts eating marshmallows like popcorn out of a big silver bowl and watches them raptly

    Haly: “I’ll help you, if you need help. Or if you want snacks. I’m really, really good at finding marshmallows.” turns to Lark “I don’t like you. You’re pompous.”

    Haly: lowers her hand slowly “In charge? Cool.” Narrows her eyes “But really?” Turns to Thaidakar “Is he?”

    Haly: pops up through the floor “Oh, hi. I don’t believe we’ve been introduced. I’m Haly.” Holds out her hand with a big smile “I’m new here.”

    Haly: screams and pitches her book “LIES! ALL OF THEM LIES!” runs in the opposite direction, bangs into a bookshelf, and falls through the floor into a dark room “Owww… where am I? Anyone? Ummmm… help please?”

    Haly smiles “Thank you. I’ll see you, then. Or maybe not, because I’ll be smashing things. WHEEEEE!” Dashes down the hall to the library and then sits quietly and reads
