    “It’s deserted here, but the sand is pretty soft.” She lay back. “I guess we could call Bacon and go back to his castle or something. He probably has some guest rooms.” Somehow she’d rather just stay on this beach.

    “I’ll admit I got carried away with my characterization,” he said. “And perhaps your actions then were justified. But perhaps it would help your intelligence if you were to stop being such an irritating pain in the ear canal.”
