  1. Oh good! He fell asleep! I finished my edit
  2. Awwww baby shoeeeee Beosta wasn’t really happy to wake up, besides the pretty sunrise. Every single day felt like a new, fresh canvas waiting for new, fresh mistakes and new, fresh problems. The problem of her father, for example. And the problem of Shoe. Both problems. What would happen if she did go back? Shoe would be fine, right? He had Tam, and not having her around would probably make so many things easier on him. She didn’t know what her father wanted, though. Maybe he just wanted to find a way to apologize to her. Maybe he missed her, needed her. Maybe he wanted to fix things and hug her and keep her close. Maybe losing her was like losing his wife all over again. Maybe, when she told him about everything she’d done, his eyes would glow warm with pride and he’d rest his hand on her shoulder and tell her how much she’d grown, how much she reminded him of her mother. Just thinking about those things made her want to cry. Having a family again would be… would be wonderful. But he had hurt her. Whether or not she deserved it— and she had— he’d hurt her. If Shoe could be so kind to her, why couldn’t her own father? Shoe… She smiled to herself, watching him asleep on the beach. Asleep, which meant she had a few minutes to think. And blush, and grin, and even maybe giggle to herself. Not that you’ve got much of a chance now, she thought, but still— he’d said I think I love you. Drunk, yes, but he’d said it! And he’d kissed her, too, even if only as part of a game. Even if it all meant nothing, she loved being near him. She loved the way she could always see his emotions on his face, and sometimes just looking at him made her want to smile. His presence was so comforting, and hugging him felt more like home than anything else ever. He was so pure and sweet and absolutely perfect and she definitely didn’t deserve him. Yeah. Right. There was still that problem. But maybe they could go back to being friends, and she could still hug him now and then, and protect him from all the bad things. im just assuming he fell asleep here : P
  3. Gail smiled. “I’m glad they’re up to scratch.”
  4. Livetha curled up on Beosta’s stomach and fell asleep.
  5. Aw, boring, Livetha complained. But okay. Imma go to sleep now, coolio?
  6. Ah. She was somewhat disappointed. So what’re you gonna do?
  7. Not really, she said. I don’t know. Go on.
  8. Livetha snorted (it sounded weird coming from a stoat). Really? You think she’d think that’s funny? If she thought it was funny, wouldn’t she have told you and laughed about it?
  9. She blushed and was very happy. Then she took you inside to get some rest.
  10. Why is that bad? Is it untrue? She asked innocently.
  11. You said you thought you loved her, she repeated. Don’t worry, though. She’s very insecure.
  12. You called her a cute not-drunk because she called you a cute drunk first, and you also said you thought you loved her at the very end, she replied immediately.
  13. What do you think of her? Livetha repeated. Do you think she's pretty?
  14. …maybe. It’s funny! She chirped again. So what do you think of her?
  15. My family loves it too, especially my siblings
  16. She didn’t reply. She was dreaming about a department store, and was mildly annoyed because she couldn’t find the shoe section and people were mad at her for being barefoot.
  17. I LOVE FREELANCERS.
