  1. “There are different art styles.”
  2. He eyed him. “It’s really pretty.” - His eyebrows shifted in concern. Something in him hurt seeing her like this, even though he… he couldn’t remember. “I only remember one thing,” he said. “I remember… I think I remember your name.” He scowled at him. “Shut up, crazy man.” He reached out and barely stopped himself from taking her hand. “You’re… you’re Irie?”
  3. She shook her head. “Not that style.”
  4. Five squeezed his arm. Bat’s eyes widened. “Dang,” he breathed. He stepped closer and took her hand when it brushed his. - Aden froze. Aden yanked away and stood, stumbling back. “You’re crazy!” He hesitated, then frowned. He knew that face, didn’t he? Words bubbled up from somewhere in his mind— the memory of remembering, of thinking over and over so desperately it barely, barely got through. Don’t forget Irie. Don’t let them hurt Irie. Don’t you dare forget Irie. He shook his head, wondering if he was insane.
  5. “Because you don’t know how.”
  6. She buried her burning face in his shoulder even though they were still walking.
  7. He blushed and looked down at his feet. Nice. Her face burned. “It’s… it’s okay,” she whispered. “I… liked it.”
  8. He knows where Aden is now “Before they— took us away,” she whispered. “You…” She unsheathed her sword and swished it around. “Don’t make me turn you all into hamsters,” she warned. “I hate cheating like that, but hey, Narrators gotta do what we gotta do.”
  9. “Before they…” She only got that far before her voice squeaked away. She hid behind her hair. He also instinctively knew exactly where Aden was being operated on. He followed. I… I was gonna say you’re a very pretty gremlin. Sorry I thought that was Irie for some reason That was ok. The ground jolted.
  10. He nodded slowly. That seemed plausible. - She nodded. Then blushed. “Starlight?” She whispered. Mid as in just above modern, or around there ”Our tattoos don’t tend to go well for non natives.” “Teleport me up there,” she hissed to Cricket.
  11. He groaned, holding his head, and sat up. “What happened?” Then he frowned. “Who are you?” He blushed deeper. Let’s go. Five blinked. “Wh….” She grabbed his hand and followed him.
  12. Ehehe :3 He laughed. You ARE a little gremlin. A very— He stopped and blushed. He gasped. “Ow.” Hehehe She hugged back, confused. I’d say more mid The leader, a gray-haired woman with hard features, slowly shook his hand.
  13. “No. I was the one who wanted to do this.” She turned back to the walls. “Either let me in, or I’ll blow up your fort. Don’t make me do that—I hate cheating!” “Wh- what?” Five’s eyes were wide. “He will. He will.” She crawled over and hugged Irie.
  14. Her face softened a little. “You don’t need to get hurt.” She sniffed. “I know… but how?” Suddenly ye had a deep and intricate knowledge of how to undo the locks from the inside of the cells by chipping out a brick in the corner and connecting a sequence of tiny wires. Yeah I’ll be careful, he promised.
  15. “I don’t need to be protected,” she snapped. She curled up in his arms and cried with him. NONONO HEAD SLAMMING IS MY THING Qodi bit him. He was all better. He admired the scenery the whole way.
  16. “With pencils.”
  17. “It’s Irie. They… they took Aden…” He blushed bashfully and smiled back. What?? ”What else am I supposed to do?” She started climbing.
  18. We’ll see Awwww *flesh puddle* *slurpy laugh*

      oop

my choir directors are kinda the same way

especially when it comes to show choir

if we have 4s or 5s in two of our classes we can’t perform (which is reasonable tbh) so all the show choir kids have like really good grades lmao

  20. She sniffled and leaned into his chest. “I’m sorry,” she whispered. His eyes began to work again. Just a little bit. Everything was still blurry, but the pain began to recede. He grinned, following. Of course. I never doubted you.
