Man, I didn’t want to have to do this. But I will trueclaim if I have to. I AM THE BLACKSMITH GET OFF! I need to get one more check off tonight so I need to stay alive. I left my first check with Luck in case I die in the night or you guys kill me for some reason. I hope an hour is enough time for you to get off. I didn’t want to claim it in case the elims decided to leave me alive to kill later due to the doubt they caused. I claimed a channeling role because it seemed the most likely to stay under the radar. If I claimed a warder I would have had to prove I had an Aes Sedai, which I don’t. I also think it would’ve been an obvious lie because of how badly I misunderstood the role. Second, If I’m an Aes Sedai, Infigured that if Incould wiggle my way out of this RT, I could always be actually traced/shielded to ensure I didn’t do anything. But since Shining is doubling down on the claim at this point, I’ve no choice but to actually claim. You guys are about to lunch your cop. Vote Shining, heal me at night, and hopefully I’m able to bring down another elim. -

You see, I don’t think both of you are elims. You are right that that would be dumb. But if one of you are an elim, then you can toss it up in the air which one of you or Shining it is, but the Forsaken can use compulsion to throw it their way. That means that once I die, the next wagons are gonna be you and shining, but the correct one doesn’t die, and then boom, we lose. If I die, we lose. Personally, I think it makes much more sense for it to be Shining Silhouette out of the two of you since you are carrying his message and he confirmed. -

I have some questions for you. Obviously I know that it’s a lie, but nobody else seems interested. I wish I had set up an RT first before this happened to me (that was the plan with xino). Why did you decide to “trace” me? What was the point of having Mat deliver the news when one or now possibly both of you are gonna be yeeted tomorrow anyway? The RT is also extremely fakeable. 1) Both Araris and Devotary claimed to be roleblocked, and 2) A singular kill went through, which means that any possible lightning was blocked. An E.Blademaster is super feasible, especially considering how two people were roleblocked. It doesn’t take a genius to come up with a plausible fake trace. All the information to come up with it was there in the outed information. It would have been more convincing to me (not that it would have convinced me of anything) if this info was outed before the RB claims and they confirmed the RB, but because it was done out of order it’s even more proof that it was faked. -

Why would you lie about it tho? It doesn’t accomplish anything other than throwing. -

Bruh. If they’re the elim and you’re a villager then if you don’t put them you are leaving yourself as the last possible misyeet for them to win the game. Because in no way are they gonna kill you when I flip green. -

How is that a contradiction? Heal is a much more complex weave than Harden Air, so I wanted to hedge my bets. -

I blocked Araris in case he was able to do anything to change it from Illwei to Conq, then I healed Luck. I got a success on the Harden air and a fail on the Heal. Either way, I’m 100% confident Mat and/or his contact is lying, so I’d really like to find out who that is. -

Unfortunately no. I failed to do my action. D1 I channeled Harden Air (lmao) and N1 I did Heal. -

Sorry for double posting but I can’t figure out a good way to multi quote on mobile. D1 I opened a PM with Luck and channeled. N1 I just channeled. -

But if you use physical actions, your odds of your weave succeeding go down. I wanted to make sure my odds of my weave succeeding as high as possible (it didn’t help). Next, I was caught doing two physical actions, so if I channeled it would have only caught my other action if I did one. Another possibility is that Mat is a villager, but his informant is an elim giving false information. Mat needs to put his partner so that when I flip V we can hold both of them accountable. -

Ha, funny man. Your first thing wrong with this is that I’m a channeling role. I used a weave and a weave only last night, so I couldn’t have submitted two physical actions. Also, if it was someone else who traced me, why were you the only one to push me before this point? If your partner did it, they would have been voting me too. Another thing: why hide the fact that you had mech info? All hiding it does is make you look more desperate and shady. If you had opened with mech info and backed it up with a case, it would have gone much farther towards burying me if you really meant it. Even as it is now, I can’t tell if you are an elim trying to bury a solid villager or if you are just doing an RT for some reason. Nice attempt tho. Matrim’s Dice -

That’s funny, because I elim read him because of how little info he gave. He obviously has read enough of the thread to be able to post a post count, so he should have some idea of what’s going on. Even if you are just skimming the thread to look for votes; you still see what’s going on. That means he should have some reasoning behind his vote, especially since he thought Conq looked paired with Luck. But the second part is a good point. I should reconsider on him first. xinoehp512 If he is an elim his teammate(s) must be pretty frustrated with him. -

Responses in blue. Here is my reads list: Vil: Luck Vil Lean: Shining Conq Vil Slight Lean: Sart, Araris Null: Devotary, Mat Elim Lean: Xino I realize that some of my response might come out as passive aggressive or condescending. I do not mean offense, but I’m not gonna change how I wrote it because frankly I am a passionate arguer. I don’t want to take away from my points by writing it more poorly just to be nicer. Please don’t think I’m an asshole. Tomorrow is moving day, so I’m gonna be really busy. I will probably not have the chance to do full check ins, but I will do my best to stay up to date. I should be done with work for a few hours before EoD, so I should have time to sit down, catch up, and talk. -

But my math checks out right? I’m not misunderstanding how Warders work? Also if @xinoehp512 is browsing but not responding that’s not a good look. He may just not have time to reply, but I’m going to place my vote there for now anyway. xinoehp512 EDIT: There is also this. If xino is the forsaken since he was so inactive he may have forgotten to put in a compulsion action. -

From the fact that they don’t know when they will strike so it’s 50/50 odds of them being on the right person. Or if there is no choice in who Warders protect, then it’s 50/50 who they are protecting anyway. Am I still misunderstanding? -

I believe I misunderstood the Warder role. I thought it acted like a loyal bodyguard with a 50% chance of working, so the warder would take turns protecting himself and his Aes Sedai, but the protection would only have a 50% chance of succeeding. I didn’t realize that the 50% is for BOTH of them dying, and the protection is separate (but also 50%). I think I also assumed that “protect” implies dying in their stead, but I suppose it could just be kill prevention. I think I also assumed that the protection was an action and not a passive, and that most warders would protect their Aes Sedai on their first turn. (3): True. I know he said that he had a hard time committing out of fear of being wrong, but I also wanted to make sure he wasn’t committing just to commit. I wanted to see if he thought through the other solutions and presented the one he thought probable. If he did, then he would have a second most likely scenario. I am quite known for weird posts actually. Unfortunately I townread all of the most active players, which is a problem I run into every game (yes, even the ones where I’m a wolf). I doubt it’s as easy as the three lowest posters, but I have a really hard time reading volume as anything but villagery. The person I’m most suspicious of is Xino because of how they ditched the game pretty much. Left that one vote on Conq, I think, then hasn’t said a word since. Since Illwei was green and I think Conq is too, that makes me think that he threw his vote on a wagon and called it a day since the two main wagons were both(?) green. There are almost no wagon shifts here compared to other communities, so if he’s someone who has played here before it makes sense for them to get away with a passive wolfing style. In fact, I have a test for this. @xinoehp512 what is your worldview looking like buddy? EDIT: My phone is dying so I kinda rushed and forgot this part. I think I started this thought with the too many townreads things but forgot to finish it. I usually have a wolf in my townreads because of effort, so when we reach a point where everyone is posting and there are no easy people to wolfread I usually shrug and sheep my favorite case. I’m ofc gonna try to find the elims, but it may not be with the same conviction as my Illwei push. Let’s just hope the elims make themselves clear to It’s not really useful to town because I essentially become dead weight, but it does have another benefit . ANOTHER EDIT: I haven’t really given Devotary and consideration. I’m gonna go back and read up on him after I charge my phone. I’ll edit it into this post if nobody has posted by then. Um, no? I don’t know how warders work (clearly), so if I did have one I would have understood. And if I was an elim, why would I throw away free protection when I had 6-7 other options to choose from? -

Wait could it be that they tried to kill someone else but Wizard took the bullet instead? That makes more sense than a wizard kill. It was an odd night as well, so they were protecting their Aes Sedai. @Conquestor I have a question. I don’t know how confident you are on Mat being an elim, but who do you think it could be if it isn’t Mat? -
Long Game 88: Blood and Bloody Ashes!

Wizard is a super odd kill. It makes me wonder if we’ve been pocketed by a deep elim or if we are on track and they didn’t want to dig their own grave with an obvious kill. -

That’s actually an interesting proposition. If the elim team has especially powerful vote manipulation, it could be that we’re looking at a 2 elim team since we’d have to rely more on power roles to catch them instead of voting. I think it was Conq or Devotary that did the math that a Forsaken Amyrlin team could swing a 5-2 vc their way. That would make voting nearly impossible to end someone (it would p much out them tho). -

It seems like a lot of the doubt around my slot comes from the unfamiliarity with me. Personally, I rarely do meta dives but I can post links to some of my games from mafia universe if you want to take a look at how I play. -

Also I couldn’t find the post about Sart so because I liked his post recent post(s) I’m gonna say that he is not a good place to vote for tomorrow.
