  1. Soon after threat’s receding, an ebb of surety flows through Encephelous as a gentle breeze to fill his sails. For the moment, there is nothing which can disturb him on his path, just as there is nothing to disturb any of the creatures of Roshar from living out their lives. That breeze intensified for a fluttering second, swirling around and pulling him towards two potential destinations. One more familiar, one not.
  2. Without word, the power of Dominion forms a barrier between Whimsy and all of the beings of Roshar. Cut off from sight and touch. After a moment, he speaks again. “There are other worlds than these, ones where you have not decided to callously kill for no purpose.” A small sharpening of focus, staring deep into Whimsy’s nature. “You choose to be this way. You could choose to pursue the joy and levity of all things, and yet you find thoughtless aimlessness to hold more value? Leave.”
  3. Dominion is synonymous with Roshar, it feels. Laced with scornful distaste, it reaches out in blocking all repercussion. “Why are you still here, you who has given yourself to the your most foolish inclinations, amongst the few you can? Leave. Find amongst the myriad of the rest of existence somewhere without consequence, to enjoy as you please. Not here, where your presence contributes to the misery of others.”
  4. Virtuosity detonated a star. Irritating, really. They could’ve all worked their own wonders, and never had to see each other again. Now they were looking for the Dawnshards. ‘Seek.’ Someone should kill them. Only reasonable thing, when faced with a god that cared so little for peace. Alas, it could not be him. Mascarose had decided to be benevolent, to the small slice of creation allotted to him. Adonalsium had left behind gods, on Roshar. Little ones, whose purposes fit quite well with what they now faced. Eager, they were, to protect the system Adonalsium left to them. With prepared Mantles of his Investiture, they could be of some use, at least until their reserves ran out. Physical force was a simple enough thing to stop. He exerted his own, reduced energy, nullified what was there. Adonalsium’s Wind found themselves especially suited to this. Investiture was more troublesome to handle. It wished to imbed itself into the system. Mascarose adamantly refused to let it. Holding it, guiding it away and towards a different target. He had no name for the third planet, yet its core held the property to draw in Investiture. He saw this, and encouraged it. Foreign Investiture found itself trapped within the orbit of this planet, not to do its damage elsewhere. Small parasites existed in the roiling storm, whose purpose it was to embed themselves into the soul of another. Without a planet as host, they withered and died. Adonalsium’s Night found purpose in this. A Shard’s mind would feel the trapping of even one of its many limbs. Unless she hid such attention. ‘To shroud,’ had been Adonalsium’s purpose for her. She had not yet seen opportunity to fulfill that purpose, until know. A well of power, contained, controlled, hidden from sight. Dominion knew intrinsically what to do next. This Investiture could not be allowed to remain within the influence of the Shard Virtuosity. Or, even, the diluted compaction of lost life it carried. A product of ‘Virtuosity’. Slowly, the power fell towards the planet, and Dominion linked itself to it, steadily changed its tone until much was red and some a sharpened spear.
  5. Even without a Seed to force the loose Investiture to attach to a planet? Dang, no wonder he’s getting Leras’d. Still, though, I mourn the loss of the unaligned planet, shelter to peoples untainted by the whims of great and terrible gods. Peoples who might yet choose for themselves a proper destiny, or find themselves beholden to another’s.
  6. Meaning that people make up and submit original little goober planets. Places like First of the Sun, where the highest level of Investiture isn’t very high. It’d be neat, I think, to have a little repertoire of original inhabited minor planets that can show up at GM discretion later, for the future.
