Well. Uh. You're gonna get a blast of WAT spoilers. I can summarize the Barebones stuff with minimal story spoilers? What have you read?

Truthfully, I think that if the shard you're playing isn't a singer or going to roshar, wind and truth doesn't matter.

WAT They're worldbuilding spoilers WAT My rule of thumb is once it's out of it's spoiler period, worldbuilding spoilers are fine, but story ones are not.

Other than that reveal and some fancy investiture mechanics, most everything dealt with Rosharan issues, and the mechanics of Hoid. Hoid doesn't matter here, but anyone traveling to Roshar will likely need to be aware of this. WAT I don't see why we would need story spoilers tbh

It's mentioned off-hand once in a flashback. It's not even remotely relevant.

You're lowkey fine. I think all that this reveals is the name of the last shard. Cause, of course we're not gonna actually reveal any story details of the real cosmere. Virtuosity isn't a death god.

I really don't think we'll get 8 more shards.... There aren't that many active RPers. @Hoid Slayer?

I'll admit I'm also very tempted to make Devotion. Unending compassion and care, in the hands of a man who once committed a grievous crime , payed the price, and has grown from his mistakes.

Well it's not a rule. It's certainly not an Oath. And from what we understand two shards in the system kinda broke it.

What I meant wasn't what shard we got, I meant the actual wording of the deal of noninterference the shards keep bringing up. The whole thing about "Originally, the Shards made an agreement not to interfere with each other, but they did not make a formal oath and many of the Shards chose not to keep to the agreement. Additionally, Honor felt he did not break the agreement by traveling with Cultivation, suggesting the wording of the agreement may not have been as precise as Shards like Endowment thought."

Should we formally decide what the deal between shards is verbatim, or let us RP that out.

Mh yes you're correct. He went after Ambition first, then couldn't find her and was in the neighborhood and did a drive-by murder of DnD. Yeah they're probably around yolen, I'll admit it doesn't male sense for a colony to be further ahead then yolen. (Nazh being super old is also really weird. I suspect the evil was a slow corruption at first then entered the physical and ate everyone)

In era two, mind you. Taldian was more developed in era 1 for sure. Threnody developed gunpowder at some point before the coming of the evil, (you cant make gunpowder after the forests of hell) which was presumably related to the splintering of Ambition, which happened early on. Humans on earth developed gunpowder in the 9th century, which almost every world we've seen had at least that level of tech. It's possible that there was some stretch of time between the death of Ambition and the creation of the evil (likely even, given Nazh.), but its inaccurate to say that scadrial was the most developed world pre Ascension. All Khriss said is that they were developing at a rate far faster than anyone else and would have eclipsed everyone. We don't know know the tech level of the cosmere at the time. Dragonsteel prime suggests it's late bronze age early iron age, which is possible. But given that we took around 2500 years go from the iron age's start to today, it's not unreasonable to assume that they might have been more or less developed than that. It's completely possible that some random person invented gunpowder on yolen pre-shattering. I mean microkinies can split the atom. If we wanna cannoize no gunpowder that works too. I don't really care lol, it's not important to Alph's story.

He's not a shard. we should get him a dawn shard or something. I do think it would be interesting, as the story develops, to pick up a couple of other PCs to play. Like I might play a foot soldier from my world as well.
