  1. Ok, so we're doing a research paper in school, and for some ungodly reason, they decided everything must be on paper. Picture 80 kids printing 20+ sheets of paper around the clock (There are 4 blocks with 2 classes of 40 each).

Every single printer in school jammed.

And since they jammed, the printer didn't work, so people went back to reprint it, so duplicates of these 20+ page sources were printed when these printers came back online. I eventually got the single sheet of paper I was looking for after 30 minutes (I printed most of my sources at home).

Now I'm sitting there, and my teacher wants me to handwrite note cards, including citations. This wouldn't be bad if the citations didn't look like this.

Horrock, Nicholas M. "Approaching a crisis of peace West needs new way to view, deal with communism Series:

COMMUNISM. A world of change. After the Cold War was institutionalized in the 1950s, many agencies had a major stake in it. Sixth in a series.: [CITY EDITION]." Chicago Tribune (pre-1997 Fulltext), Jul 30, 1989, pp. 1. ProQuest, https://ssolanding.www.proquest.com/newspapers/approaching-crisis-peace-west-needs-new-way-view/docview/282553159/se-2.

No disrespect, teacher but I'm not handwriting that on a 3x5 in a notecard, which also needs to have the title (Horrock, Nicholas M. "Approaching a crisis of peace West needs new way to view, deal with communism Series: COMMUNISM. A world of change. After the Cold War was institutionalized in the 1950s, many agencies had a major stake in it. Sixth in a series.: [CITY EDITION].)

(The other titles are only two sentences, not 4, so slightly better.)

And the quote, "In fact, more than 160 million Americans, two-thirds of the population, were born after 1947, the year when the governments of Czechoslovakia and Poland were seized by communists... For these Americans, the state of suspicion and fear of the communist bloc is as much a part of life as going to school."

I need to do this 12 times (4 times for each article)

    😭
