Long Game 78: The Legend of Zelda: The False Heroes
purplewhiteandgold replied to Biplet's topic in Sanderson Elimination
To be honest, I’m not sure who to trust or what to do at this point. But given how this game has gone, I wouldn’t be surprised if things get turned around quickly. Maybe more information will surface tomorrow that can give us direction. -

I’m still trying to figure out reads on everyone, however, tani seems to have a lot of evidence against them. -

I had a pm opened with dannex on D3 when they were looking for information, I had nothing to pass along. That was the only one I’ve been put in, I’ve refrained from asking for any because I don’t have any information and I don’t want to use up a pm when other people could use them much more efficiently. -

Dang, every time I try to catch up on what’s happening, another chaotic thing happens and throws me off. Regardless, I’m not entirely sure how drake survived last night, but having them still around isn’t exactly comforting after their accuser was killed and is confirmed village. -

Given how dannex has played so far, it doesn't seem like they would publicly make a claim like that (identifying someone as Yiga after being told so from Zelda) unless they knew their source was correct. They probably received a pm from a Zelda claimant, scanned them to ensure that they actually are Zelda, then shared any information passed along. In a situation like this, I don’t think dannex would take risks on something this big when it would be easy for them to verify the claimant’s role. -

I need to go back and re-read old threads to see if anything stands out because I apparently missed a lot when reading through them the first time. However, the evidence brought up in this thread does seem strongly against TUO. -

Between a lack of energy/focus and the chaos of the last couple turns, I have no reads right now on anyone. I’m hoping that the next turn will bring more info for me to work with. It seems as though there's a fair amount of suspicious that I'll need to sift through and analyze, but I'm going to wait and see if there's any new and relevant information next turn. -

I’ve been getting a bit sick over the past couple days and haven’t been able to do any real analyzing yet because of how tired and low-energy I’ve been :/ However, based on what many people are saying and from my own observations, Stick seems to be somewhat covering up for Illwei’s actions and trying to potentially keep elims from being noticed. -

It’s taken me a while to be able to process what’s happened so far this turn, and I’m going to refrain from commenting on anything since at this point, everything I would bring up has already been mentioned by one person or another, and my thoughts are scattered and conflicted anyway. My train of thought is a lot of “what if”s that I could repeat and think about for a long time, and at this point the most productive thing would be to simply wait for the next round to see the effects of the actions taken tonight. Truthfully, I’m not 100% sure I fully caught all the information mentioned in the past few hours even after reading through the conversation multiple times X) so again, I’m going to wait and see how things turn out next round before I start trying to make solid reads from this. -

Personally, I’m a bit skeptical of the plan. It could go smoothly, but there seems to be a lot of factors that could cause problems or confusion that we should try to avoid. For one thing, as much as people keep saying that only Link and Zelda, or only Zelda, etc. should request the frog, it’s something that would benefit a fair amount of the roles, and they might want to get their hands on it as soon as possible. Not requesting it could limit how much they can contribute, and publicly saying “I’m going to take it even though I’m not Link or Zelda” could draw unwanted attention. And that’s not even considering that maybe more than one elim could request the frog. Taken all together, there’s a fair amount of people who all have valid reasons to want it, and if they all request it, or even only some of them, it could provide little clarity. Also, most people seem to be saying that Beedle being elim would be too imbalanced, but there’s no guarantee the elim team hasn’t been made smaller than seems to be expected to accommodate the power that would come from one of them having that role. It’s not a guarantee, and while it’s a small probability, it still is possible, and we shouldn’t be reckless with that. On the slim chance that only Link and/or Zelda requests the frog, it puts them in danger of being discovered. And if it’s a group of people who all request, Beedle could specifically give it to elims to avoid it falling into the hands of someone who could use it against them. Overall, it seems like a high risk/low reward situation, and while something like that might be helpful in some situations, it seems too early to be messing with this when it could turn out so poorly or give very little information. As for Archer, I’m a bit suspicious of someone who not only presents an idea like that right at the beginning, but goes out of their way to get people to weigh in on it with their opinions. From my perspective, it appeared as though I was supposed to agree or else be potentially accused of having bad intentions with my disagreement, as many people seemed to be agreeing in one way or another. I may be overthinking this, but this is potentially the play of an elim who knows that Beedle is on their side. There’s probably a lot of nuance that I’m missing, especially given my lack of knowledge of both this game and my fellow players, but my gut instinct is to not trust this. -

Hello everyone I’m very shy and awkward but Bip brought this up and it seemed too exciting to pass up on anyway you can call me Purple, I’ll be playing as Vee, a maid at the castle. I’m new to this whole thing but it looks fun and I’m looking forward to it!
