Insanity Clinic: Season Two
Thaidakar the Ghostblood replied to Going_North_cal's topic in Roleplaying
A whimper escaped Thaidakar, his eyes-eye now-pointed to the ground. His nails dug into the steel, twisting, biting into it. His breathing grew shallower and faster. He stood, looking right at the Ancient Darkness, ignoring Elan for now. Where his right eye had been was a narrow hole that showed the dark void sky behind him. The edges of the hole were charred and frayed, leaking red energy like worms. His other eye was glowing fiery with a look that could've melted mountains. "You're not real," Thaidakar said, his voice like a sword, slicing through the air around them, "You were never real, you are not real and you never will be." IN the hole of his head, energy began amassing, crackling and sparking. He began to levitate as anger pulsed through him, making every bit of him shake. "I am Thaidakar, I am not a staff member, I am not a soulless, I am not a dragon, I am not some blasted dark god's champion! And, by all the names in heaven, I will be free from you!" The blast of energy struck Quinn, destroying its current shape, ripping its essence apart before shoving it back together. "I am Thaidakar," Bolts of red energy swirled around him, moving from shape to shape, never staying in one form, "I am who I choose to be! You," He looked at Elan, his finger crowned with power, "You will not kill me. Your kind will not plague me. I am Thaidakar! I am Eternal! I will not be looked down upon anymore. I will not be ignored. I will not leave so that everyone can ignore me. "My name," his voice hissed like lightning about to strike, "is Thaidakar. Remember it." Hundreds of bolts of energy cascaded on Elan with explosive energy, ripping, tearing, shredding, destroying.* Thaidakar shot into the sky in his human form, lightning thrown every which way from his limbs, smiting any and all who would approach him. *you decide how much damage happens. The description is only here for dramatic affect.- 21514 replies

Insanity Clinic: Season Two
Thaidakar the Ghostblood replied to Going_North_cal's topic in Roleplaying
In Thaidakar's soul, the Darkness found itself looking at the shattered bits of a mirror on the proverbial ground, not beyond repair, yet... Each shard had a dark creature laughing in it. Only one shard, the largest of them, looked any different. With a halo of splinters around it, there was a man in the last shard. He was weeping over the body of a woman. The man looked up through the shard and saw the darkness. His eyes were pure red. Thaidakar's essence was rent from the shard, sending the remains of the mirror flying as he burst from them. Thaidakar roared, grabbing the Darkness. The Darkness was shoved from Thaidakar's soul. Thaidakar was human now ontop of the vehicle, grabbing the darkness around him with energy around his fingertips. Wrapping the darkness' energy around his palms, he sent a wave of power, throwing the darkness away from him. The sound of the explosion was only rivaled by the scream which stole its way from Thaidakar's thought . Thaidakar turned, sensing the bullet coming at him. Thaidakar was one of the fastest beings in existence, since he was enhanced by the creature which granted him powers, yet he was not fast enough. The bullet hit him in the eye, shearing through his head and flying away from him. Thaidakar fell to the ground, his fist hammering into the roof of the hovercraft beneath him. The frightened occupant cursed, wobbling and attempting to knock him off, yet Thaidakar held on tight.- 21514 replies

Summer’s Flower. When their perfume is in the air When their painted petals do Line the streets of june And their happy faces greet Every passerby who comes across Their way to meet the joyous faces Of flow’rs, made of omnipotent hand, For no such thing could be, Lest made by a divine sculptor, As beautiful as a summer’s flower- 42 replies

A violent burst of energy threw the Darkness away from Thaidakar's soul. There were defenses around his soul, constructed of a power both ancient and malevolent.- 21514 replies

Thaidakar cursed, fumbling to move. When he saw elan, he shoved a bright slash of red energy at him. Closing his eyes and letting himself sense the surroundings, he did his best to keep running. He turned into a dragon, soaring over the next few vehicles and landing with a crash, spraining his ankle. He turned fully into dragon form, practically galloping through the darkness over the vehicles, smashing some of them.- 21514 replies

the people in the vehicles which were the ground were quite annoyed. Lyla gritted her teeth, trying to lift the rubble off of her feet dazedly. She grunted in pain. Her right leg hurt like the devil. "Rust those dragons... rust them!"- 21514 replies

Thaidakar pushed his own powers at the blast of white energy using one hand while the other threw the powers at the ground, throwing him into the air and over Elan. He landed behind elan a few paces and kept running.- 21514 replies

Thaidakar the Ghostblood replied to Going_North_cal's topic in Roleplaying
A burst of flames from one of the dragons still chasing him caught Thaidakar in the wing. He struggled in the... air? Whatever it was. He struggled in the air, falling onto the hover traffic below. With a lurch, two vehicles crunched beneath him. He leaped towards other vehicles, yet turned human just as he was about to land. He ran to the end of the vehicle, jumped. As he did, he turned back into a dragon, flying farther than he could with his regular form, then turned back into a human again, repeating again and again. He was going at a slower pace, yet the dragons wouldn't blast fire at the traffic. Instead, they were trying to swoop down and catch him with their claws. Yet, each time they tried, Thaidakar blasted them with his powers.- 21514 replies

Insanity Clinic: Season Two
Thaidakar the Ghostblood replied to Going_North_cal's topic in Roleplaying
Those who were on the top of the tower or near the top could hear shouting conversations from the top room echoing out, muffled by magic so no one could hear the precise words. Lyla was at the base of the tower and, looking at those around her, nodded. The door was unguarded, for some reason, which should have been the first sign. Without further ado, she reached for the door handle and opened up the door, unveiling a lobby. Now, it was rather obvious something was wrong when she looked in the lobby. For one thing, it was collapsing in on itself the moment she opened the door. For another thing, the top of the tower was exploding in red energy and a black and red dragon was flowing from the top, whipping people back and forth. And, for a third thing, the fact that the falling people each turned into large dragons and went after the other dragon as it snaked over the city towards... the docks? "Oh brother," Lyla said, after she was violently thrown back with the rest of them from the building, or, what was left of it since the top was obliterated. Thankfully, the building did the polite thing and fell the other way as not to crus her and the others. How considerate. However, it could've done better if all that dust and rubble hadn't covered her legs, and even some of the others in some respect. @The Bookwyrm @shortcake @Cash67 @Spark of Hope @Ancient Elantrian @RoyalBeeMage It is a universal constant that, when people are trying to capture you, exploding something usually makes you feel better. Thaidakar was a staunch believer in this. Yes, he could've had an intellectual argument explaining why he was correct at that moment. Well, if he hadn't been caught up in escaping from the tower which he had just blown up. Behind him, other of his kind were following him. About 20 of them. Thankfully, Thaidakar seemed faster than all of them, so maybe he did have a chance. Yet, as their flames licked his tail, perhaps he should've planned a bit longer. While in the tower, he'd been counseling with every Soulless in the city. Only a few of them seemed like genuinely good people. The majority, however, seemed like arrogant arses who wanted him for experimentation. Horrible of them, really. And, so, as the flames continued approaching Thaidakar, he dived down to avoid the flames. They dived low, following him and roaring. Thaidakar turned into his human form, diving lower and lower. The people below screamed and, as a few of the dragons started to hesitate and pull back, Thaidakar was a few feet from the ground. In a burst of flames, Thaidakar turned back into his dragon form, flying back into the air. He burst over the city, flapping up towards the docks once more. With a sweeping blast of red power, he incinerated about a quarter of the ships, even a bright yellow one with an unnatural storage of juice boxes in its hold. That should stall them for now. And, so, Thaidakar flew away from the city, pursued by dragons who were getting a mite tired. They weren't dragons like Thaidakar, accustomed to flying long distance and at such speeds. No, they were city dragons, and they had more important things, for the most part, to do instead of flying that far. Well, that was, until today.- 21514 replies
