    Meanwhile Spook slept on a well aired bed in Taldain. it was better to have an open room with windows, he was king and he deserved the best. Suddenly a loud noise awoke Spook, Spook sat up sharply. Two guards entered the room, the older of the two said, "Lord Spook, we have an emergency, the god of all has sent an avatar, they are not impressed." suddenly Micheal, avatar of Thaidakar, entered the room and said, "Spook, you're alive!" Spook grimaced, "Micheal, go and tell Thaidakar that this planet is mine, my revenge is coming and Thaidakar will be spared if he steps aside." Micheal drew a large sword made out of investiture, "Spook," Micheal said warningly, "don't, just don't, Thaidakar has enough on his plate now with the Witherlord, what are you trying to do?" Spook drew his own sword, long and made of sand colored metal, "Thaidakar is a man who thinks he knows everything, he does know a lot, but because of that he overlooks many things, this planet is mine and Nameless's blood will stain my sword and his body will be burned." Spook slammed his sword into Micheal's stomach with the flat side of his blade. Micheal oofed, he lunged and Spook blocked.

    Thaidakar looked up, "Moni, I realized what was giving Sequence the voices in that moment."

    Thaidakar looked thoughtful, "Sequence was healed because..." Thaidakar thought about it, "because I believed in them when everyone had given up."

    Thaidakar looked at Moni, "she wept that she had killed everyone one Kalithor, after the vision she said she knew the wither lords plan and that we had to stop him, but most of all the look on her face when I comforted her." Thaidakar took a drink out of his mug of root and said, "Moni, I know this from the bottom of my heart, Sequence is trustworthy."

    Thaidakar sighed, "yes, but there was something," Thaidakar searched for the word, "different about Sequence when she attacked me. if you had been there during the vision you would have realized that she was on our side no matter what." Thaidakar smiled, "Sequence is on our side and I know it."

    Thaidakar smiled, "I took her away from the voices, away from the screams, away from the witherlord." Thaidakar took a drink of his root, "I took her into a vision I had created, with no dark clouds, no voices. but it took something out of me to keep those voices out," Thaidakar took a sip of his drink, "my leg if you remember was effected."

    Thaidakar looked at the wanderer, "no, Sequence is more than a withergeist, Sequence is my friend, our friend. I need to help her, she can be brought back and I know it." Thaidakar took a deep drink of his root, "I need more information on withergeists."

    Thaidakar threw back his head and laughed, "well the witherlord isn't a normal enemy. they can do things others can't. Sequence was tricked into joining the witherlord which allowed them a connection, Withy strengthened that connection so he could summon her, except here is the thing, I have a connection to Sequence too." Thaidakar finally looked at Moni, his eyes glistened with tears, "Sequence is my friend, I can't fail anyone anymore than I already have."

    Thaidakar turned sharply, but his eyes were down and the avoided their eyes, "Sequence was captured by the witherlord, haven't you listened?"

    Thaidakar smiled, "good, now, I need to find myself an army. hey Professor, didn't you say you have contacts who could help me against the witherlord?" Thaidakar sighed, "Wanderer, you are wrong, Sequence was not tricking me, Sequence is on our side."

    "no, you're wrong," said Thaidakar angrily, "Sequence is still there, I talked to her, I hugged her, I comforted her, I helped her, I know she is on our side." Thaidakar sighed, "well I am thankful for the part you played, but Moni, remember, you have friends, you can turn to us if you need anything."

    Thaidakar peered over Moni's shoulder and saw it, "no, the adventure is not over, the witherlord still is here and Kalithor is destroyed, we are not done yet."

    Thaidakar shook his head, "no, Sequence is on our side and I know it, if they aren't I will still trust they will come back to our side. Sequence is a good person inside, I took them to a vision, away from the voices, away from the screaming, where we could talk."

    Thaidakar said, "hmmm, the authors, do they by any chance know how to destroy the witherlord?" are the authors by any chance the actual people? like me or you?

    Thaidakar rolled his eyes, "if so then it would just be me watching over me."

    Thaidakar sighed, "you do know that someone is watching over all of us, even over god, I can feel it."

    Thaidakar stroked his imaginary beard as he thought about this, "Moni, are you ok? like really ok? If I am ever to be good at this god thing I have to make sure the people in this universe are happy."
