  1. I think so. This game has been a good game in general
  2. This... is a lie. Now, I don't really know what happened behind the scenes to get Archer insanity, since he didn’t take an action. I used glowpaste d2, and I received the result that he did not take an action. You smarter people can figure out how he got insanity, but all I know is that Archer did not take an action, and as such, he is lying, so he is an elim.
  3. Going into that post, I was like, "oh, Aman probably needs to die to figure out anything, but I also want Mat to die, oh no, whatever shall I do," then I realized that Mat was mostly out of the running, so I decided to go on Aman to maybe stop any VitC shenanigans. If I could've voted two people I would have voted Mat and Aman and been done with it.
  4. Well. For everything there is a balance. For every death, a life, For every fair turn of the cards, a hand discarded in frustration, For every acrobat, a stumble, For every look of love, a sneer of hate, And for every two turns without a death, there is an elim's head.
  5. Ah, yeah, I just have no particular reason to suspect you, while I am quite suspicious of Mat and Aman got roleblocked.
  6. I think I'm going to stay out of this. Aman probably needs to die, but I'll be staying out unless Ash is going to die, since I'd rather one of Mat/Aman die. You know what. Nevermind. Aman.
  7. Curious why I'm in not blink, think I've got a significant amount more posts on Ash and more relevant ones at that.
  8. To an extent. I've said in the past that I tend to trust people that sus me and sus people who vote me. Mostly only when they're the first or second vote on me. I feel that villagers are inclined to distrust me enough that they're willing to vote me, but they don't tend to want to be the first person to do it. VC? Trying to decide if I want to throw my hat in the ring.
  9. As I've said multiple times, the forbidden word/my innate suspicion of people who vote me. I haven't had any particular pings from him other than that, so I'm letting it simmer.
  10. As someone else said, all are accounted for. I'm getting mildly annoyed how much people think I'm fixating on Mat. I said a Mat opinion at a time when everyone else was doing so, Kas asked for clarification, I did, Archer said I was fixating, I responded, Kas asked for clarification again. I've just been responding to you guys, and the only thing you're talking to me about is Mat. And I already stated that I have a mild sus of Archer. I think Kas is in his v!meta right now, otherwise I don't have many opinions.
  11. ...That's exactly what I was using it to mean? Or at least somewhere between that and what Mat said. Like, I'm saying I'm slightly sussing Archer for elim reading me, especially since it was in a weird way. I'm using it as an equivalent to wtf, I just prefer to stay as far away from swears as possible. Edit: Should probably say, it's abbreviating 'what in the world.'
  12. @Kasimir, I'm feeling very conflicted on Mat right, probably a very slight e though. I'm also dealing with some OMGUS/WitW suspicion of Archer, but I'm willing to believe your take on him since I don't really trust my OMGUS reactions.
  13. Ok, here's my take two (or actually three or four, but ignore that) So, I'm a Returned, which already puts me to Fifth Heightening, but then I've got another 5000 breaths on top of that, which doesn't get me to Eighth, but does mean I have 2000 to work with. I'm also a 5th Oath Skybreaker, so I've got Gravitation and complete division, probably the two most powerful surges, aside from Bondsmith Adhesion. That means I have a Blade and Plate, and then I also have a dead blade that I can use without screaming because of the connection Medallion. And why would I need a dead blade? So I can have a near invincible shield and a shardblade. Then I'm a Midnight Aethorbound, supported by bendalloy compounding. Then to hide my Aethorbound and provide decoys, I am also a Mavset-im, allowing me to make illusions. I am also an Elantrian, because Elantrians are overpowered. Then I am a Dakhor so I can Investiture break, which I think is probably underestimated. Then I have a Progression Fabrial to heal myself with, which I will probably have on constantly underneath my plate, and a Larkin to round out the score. So I can detect Ashbringer, use Illumination and Bendalloy to get time go use Aons for superspeed, probably faster than every other non Elantrian. Then I can fly around and send out Midnight Aethor creatures with illusions go make them hidden or look like me. If anyone comes close while I'm flying I Investiture break and they go splat. They might survive the splat, but I'll be basically unreachable. If I need to go down to finish people off, I can awake sand (seashells) or whatever the floor is made of as long as it's not stone or metal. I also will still have my shardplate and dead blade and invincible shield, so good luck getting close to me. The only things that worry me are dawnshards, and hopefully Aon Tia can remove them into space/the middle of a planet/a star.
  14. Apologies, didn't see you because you weren't @ ed. Welcome!
  15. Unfortunately no. Didn't do anything, got on at rollover+30 minutes thinking about VitCing Archer or maybe doing something else , only to realise the cycle was closed.
  16. I got mild e vibes from the post, but I also tend to lean too hard into OMGUS votes. But then I am right more often than not with them, so /shrug.
  17. I'm not voting Mat. And I'm sorry my three posts this game have concerned two people. I referenced my Mat feelings because I unvoted him the same post I voted him, then Kas asked me about him.
  18. Less so now, but he wasn't feeling as elim to me as he seemed to be to everyone else. He was feeling pretty normal Mat reactivity levels, but then he did one post in particular that felt like "ehhhh, I don't like that," so now I'm mostly neutral on him.
  19. Your vote is a mistake (should have been Silho), but Silho did indeed Soothe, in fact, the d4 said he soothed you.
  20. I think the part of Mat that gets annoyed and hyperreacts to suspicion is still triggered by the Mobborn, despite it being a pseudo village. But I don't entirely remember how reactive he was.
  21. Aftermath: They Came For You Reve traced the stitches in her throat, trailing behind Scarthroat as the two walked back to the house Copper Copper had died near. What an amusing woman. She’d only sought Scarthroat out to seek a different ending. No matter how many times the Spiked destroyed Tyrian Falls and wiped out its inhabitants, she had endured but had been unable to leave the town’s borders. All the times the villagers had driven off the Spiked similarly failed to free her. The introduction of a third faction, one that sought dominion rather than ruin, might finally let her escape confinement. Once she’d decided to help the mob win, the rest was easy. Getting a new body had been the first step. She could only possess Spiked or those who produced otherwise damaged shadows, so she’d gained their trust by helping to kill Cloudy Copper. That goodwill let her propose a plan with the informers, a staged fight that left DeTess dead and Silho looking like a hero. She’d promised DeTess resurrection and immortality, and in some ways this was true, though the woman’s identity had been entirely subsumed into hers, causing only minor shifts in personality. Body secured, the next step was reaching out to the mob. Her ability to enhance her Connection with others only worked on a single person at a time, lasted only a short time, and required being forgotten by everyone before it could be used again, so she’d sought out an individual. She’d considered approaching Copper Copper as an easily manipulatable target, but he’d been killed before she could get to him. His killer was a loose end that would need to be dealt with. A mistborn was too powerful for her to fight alone even if she could physically harm others, so she’d needed an ally. Scarthroat had seemed the perfect choice; nobody in Tyrian could match a mistborn in a direct fight so an assassin who would kill without honor or mercy had the best chance of victory. Originally, she’d planned to have Dakker and Scarthroat kill each other. Once he was dead she would have no need for her, the mob’s victory would be assured. Scarthroat was loyal only to herself and would become a liability once the Connection wore off. The look in Scarthroat’s eyes as she’d drunk Reve’s blood convinced her that she’d miscalculated. Scarthroat wanted her, not an artificially close friend. She’d become so used to temporary alliances interspersing long periods of solitude that she’d forgotten that if her plan worked, she could make lasting relationships. If she made it out of this town, having an assassin by her side choosing to help her without coercion would be an incredible asset. Just for this one body, it would be worth the risk. She hurried to catch up with Scarthroat and began telling her about all the mistborn she’d watched die. ~ The loyalty of quokkas was a fickle thing, Silho mused, absently patting the four beasts squeaking at his feet. With their benefactor dead, all it took to gain a quartet of messengers for his own use was the offer of a hidden shelter and a bit of food. He lacked the resources to recruit enough quokkas to save himself, but he would be able to send word of his plight to anyone who might help. He reviewed his four letters. The first, a brief status report to his superiors in the Steel Ministry. Mission failed. Total casualties. Requesting backup to eliminate the following known skaa mistings: Amanuensis-Thug, Stick-Seeker, Storm-Coinshot, Matrim-Augur? Warning: Metal Mob may be active. -Informer Silho The second, to the woman who’d stepped in the way of the coins DeTess had shot at him. He couldn’t quite make sense of that incident. DeTess had been working with him, so why had she tried to kill him? If his savior had been shot full of coins, why couldn’t he remember what had happened to her after that? Perhaps a quokka would be able to figure it out. You saved me before. If you do it again, the Ministry will surely reward you. -Bargainer Silho The third, to the mob, if they even existed beyond the one deceased member. All who oppose the Final Empire will be crushed. Pledge to uphold The Lord Ruler’s will and execute all skaa mistings within your ranks, and your transgressions will be forgiven. -Ministry Silho Finally, to whoever had killed Copper Copper. If you find any more members of the metal mob who refuse to serve the Final Empire, execute them. Your services will not be forgotten. -Patro Silho One letter was given to each of the four quokkas, and Silho had just sent them on their way when he heard a constant high-pitched screaming coming closer and closer to his hideout. He peeked out the window to see a stampede of quokkas leading the remaining members of Tyrian Falls directly to him. So much for the loyalty of quokkas indeed. ~ Storm was filled with excitement as he followed the herd of quokkas to their destination. He hadn’t lived in Tyrian Falls for long, but he’d been right about Silho when everyone else had doubted him. Now his intuition was being rewarded by the quokkas, who were intent on avenging their deceased trainer and had chosen him as a successor. Silho had tried to hide, but he couldn’t escape the navigational skills of professional postcarriers. Silho emerged from his hideout in a fighting stance. Storm knew the man was a Soother, and wasn’t going to give him the chance to use his emotional manipulation powers. He grabbed a bag of clips from his pocket and shot them at Silho. Nobody was around to save him this time, and the coins ripped through his body, killing him instantly. “Hah!” Storm exclaimed, turning to face his three companions and a quokka that had run out of Silho’s hideout carrying a letter and now waited patiently at the trio’s feet. “I’ve saved Tyrian Falls! Now do you doubt my claim of being a Coinshot?” “Was that your only bag of coins?” Aman asked. Storm frowned. “What?” He suddenly noticed that Mat, Stick, and Aman looked grim and purposeful rather than ecstatic. “Tell me what’s going on.” Mat sighed and stepped forwards. “We didn’t want to have to do this to you, but we decided that you deserve the truth before you die.” Storm began backing away. “Die? Are you going to kill me? Why?” Stick moved up to Mat’s side. “Mat’s a member of the metal mob, and he recruited me early on. We wanted to recruit everyone in this town, but our superior, Scarthroat, only permitted us to have a total of three members, and unluckily for you, we decided on Aman as our third. He’s wanted this all along, after all.” “That’s ridiculous! Why am I not good enough? I’ll convince Scarthroat to let me join too, or kill whoever it takes to make me part of the mob.” Aman joined his companions, looking sorrowful but with a glee he couldn’t suppress. “Sorry Storm. I argued your case, but we need an established metal mob member to endorse us in order to become full members ourselves, and with Copper Copper dead, we have to play by Scarthroat’s rules for now.” Storm began to sob loudly to cover up his movements as he burned steel and launched a second handful of clips at the three mobsters. His attempted secrecy was in vain. Stick’s seeker powers alerted her the instant Storm began burning steel, and she warned her two companions. Mat burned his own steel and pushed back, freezing the coins in the air. Storm concentrated and began pushing the coins forward as hard as he could. For a second he thought he could win, but then Aman bounded forwards with pewter-enhanced speed. One punch brought Storm’s dreams to an end. ~ Scarthroat and Reve reached Dakker’s house at the same time as two quokkas. The first brought a letter to Reve, who read it and quickly discarded it. Staying with Scarthroat meant keeping her red stitches in, impossible if she traded DeTess’s body for Silho’s. He was of no consequence now. The second quokka circled the house twice, sniffing furiously, before turning and making a dash for the edge of town. “Copper Copper’s killer must have fled the town,” Scarthroat surmised. “Then it’s time. For us to. Leave as well.” Together, they headed for the outskirts of Tyrian Falls, only to be intercepted by Mat, Stick, and Aman. Scarthroat drew knives in either hand. “Explain yourselves! What have you been doing all this time?” Stick and Aman settled into combat stances while Mat’s face hardened. “You want a report? Well here it is. We won. Without you. We even killed a perfectly good recruit to satisfy your instructions so stop running around all by yourself and give us the introduction to the metal mob that we’ve earned.” Scarthroat bristled. Nobody was allowed to talk to her like that. She was weighing her options for killing all three of them when she felt Reve’s hand in hers and forced a smile instead. “Indeed. You’ve all done well. Tin Capone will be delighted to gain three powerful mistings such as yourselves. Follow me to his headquarters.” ~ The five of them began their long trek back to the mob’s base. Scarthroat’s smile was genuine now as she walked hand-in-hand with a woman only she could remember. There would be plenty of time to isolate the new trio of recruits and test their loyalty, ensuring they would either serve her or die. Anyone who survived would form the core of a faction that would support her as mob boss. Tin Capone wouldn’t know what hit him. Besides her, Reve hit the invisible barrier that had always trapped her in Tyrian Falls and passed through it effortlessly. The town’s endless cycle of salvation and destruction had finally found a new ending ~ Silhouette has died! They were an Iron Informer, and an Instinctive Soother. Aman (1): Stick Silho (3): Alpha, Aman, Stick, Mat The Mobborn have won! Congratulations to @Matrim's Dice, @_Stick_, and, I'm sure to his infinite excitement, @Amanuensis. Thanks to @Devotary of Spontaneity for both her help as an IM and as a Co-GM, her help was invaluable to this game running smoothly. GM thoughts to come hopefully soon. Player List: Documents:
