It would have been announced if the kill was stopped, such as by Lurcher, Thug, or Threnody. It will not be announced if the kill is not placed or if the kill is somehow roleblocked, such as through Shardworld destruction or Sel.

LG112 - Metacycle One: Didn't We Do This Already? The Unknown Player ran up to his room. It seemed like his parents never stopped talking. He only had a few minutes before rollover. He pulled up the Shard on his phone. He knew it was too late to change his vote, but he could at least get an action in. He quickly clicked on his GMPM. He only had one minute. Shoot, who did he want to target? He thought for a moment, then just decided to pick someone random. Scarlet Octopus, he decided. Red was an evil color after all. He clicked send on his GMPM right as the time changed to 11:00 o'clock. Oh no. He hoped he made it in time. He quickly edited his post asking if he made it in. The GM responded with just “...” The Unknown Player frowned. As he waited for the GM to respond, he checked the thread. Vote after vote, all of Scarlet Octopus. The Unknown Player face palmed. He went back to his GMPM and typed, “Nevermind” He sighed and leaned back in his chair. Well, might as well check in with the mod group chat to see what was going on with those roleplay characters. ~ The Unknown Character logged out of his anonymous account and returned to the virtual porch. The others appeared in quick succession. “That was great work everyone. They played right into our hands,” Al said once everyone arrived. “What do we do while we wait for the next cycle? Just sit around?” The Unknown Character asked. Before Al could respond, one of the other characters cut in. “Isn't it obvious?” The Unknown Character looked to Al. Al smiled wide, showing off his gold and silver teeth. The Unknown Character turned back to the other character as they began to speak again. “Now, we cause chaos.” ~ Scadrial has been destroyed! Yes! The one this is based on, LG92 was definitely more confusing. KKC is definitely more complex. I'd say it depends on the player whether this one is worse than the Shard games, and it's pretty comparable to the Majora's Mask game.

At the beginning of the Metacycle Impersonating other players is not allowed (unless you're Jo and clearly joking), however, staying anonymous is perfectly fine There will be a 48 hour Pseudocycle, then a separate 48 hour Metacycle

I always found it really amusing that traditionally in Tyrian, despite being the big bad guys, the Spiked aren't actually the ones that destroy the town, it's the Koloss. I wanted to mirror that, and so you guys need to stop the Roleplay Characters before you're overrun by the k01055

LG112 - Night Zero: And the Night Got Deathly Quiet The Unknown Player refreshed the page. No new notifications. Signups were closed, and he was just waiting for Day One to go up. Or at least for his GMPM to arrive. An elim doc would be nice right about now. He could mess around and make dumb memes while waiting for the turn to be posted. Refresh, no notifications, check Discord, no messages, refresh again. It had only been [however long it takes me to post this], but it felt like 24 hours. And, while the Unknown Player waited, doing nothing, others put their time to good use. ~ The Unknown Character sat on a porch, looking out at a well-maintained lawn. It wasn't really a porch, he knew now. They were fictional, just words on the internet, but it felt real enough. Soon, they would defeat the SEers and unleash the k01055 upon the Shard. With the Shard destroyed, the Roleplay Characters would be set free, and the Unknown Character could sit on a real porch, and look out at a real lawn. “We have to make a decision,” Al began. The Unknown Character turned to face him. Tin Capone, the legendary mobster. The imaginary mobster. The Unknown Character was surrounded by legendary Roleplay Characters of the past. He looked from face to face. These characters had been around for years, dying, surviving, coming back to life, but more importantly, they had been playing SE. Many of them were more experienced than the players themselves. “What decision?” asked one of the characters. They had been one of the first to quicken, to gain awareness. “In order to free the k01055, we have to defeat the SE players,” Al began. The old character scoffed. They always doubted the Roleplay Characters’ chances. They had been correct to do so until recently. Only now did they have the numbers to finally fight for their freedom.
