  1. @|TJ| @Ashbringer @KelsierApologist @Hoid Slayer @Quivil @The Wandering Wizard @RoyalBeeMage If you guys get your actions in in the next twelve hours, I think I can pull off a normal, albeit potentially slightly long rollover. Looking at the schedule for wrestling tomorrow, I'm going to try even if you send your actions in later than that, but it could take a while.
  2. Long Game 105 - Day Three: Accusation Accusations flew during the night. I stayed silent. I didn't trust anyone. I would have to take matters into my own hands if we were ever going to find the doppelgangers. ~ LG105 Day Three has begun! No one has been sent back to Central! Votecount: The Wandering Wizard (2): Ashbringer, TJ The vote minimum of 3 has not been met. Things to Note: You can Explore locations today, but voting does not resume until the next turn. Actions can be sent in within your GMPM and must specify a location to search. Remember that all italics are purely flavor! And even the non italicized mechanical text can be misleading without full context. Remember also that it is against the rules to directly quote from your GMPM, only paraphrasing is allowed. I almost certainly won't be able to do rollover on time this weekend, so while the cycle will close at 12:30 on Saturday the 2nd of May, official rollover is going to be given a whole day, with Night Four opening sometime Sunday (I'll aim for the normal time) Players: Available Locations for Exploration:
  3. The italicized portions of the writeups are irrelevant to you. You may roleplay with the character, but they serve no purpose.
  4. Long Game 105 - Night Three: Exhaustion I decided to explore up the Coast today. My notes can be found earlier in this journal. It was largely uneventful. I got as far as I could without a boat to navigate the increasingly marshy land. I was bone tired from hiking through that miserable terrain when I returned to Base Camp. I was the last one to return. I found a boat set up in the camp. It looked to have been recently repaired, though it was still quite rickety. Maybe that would be good enough for further exploration up the Coast. After the others had explored Island Y of course. We sat down to eat, but no one felt talkative. We were all tired from our days’ labors, not to mention the constant stress this place placed upon us. I wanted nothing more than to leave. ~ Welcome to LG105 Night Three! No-one has died. No public rules have been discovered. Things to Note: You may vote today, but all actions will take place next turn. Votes must be placed in Bolded Red Remember that all italics are purely flavor! And even the non italicized mechanical text can be misleading without full context. Remember that quoting from your GMPM is against the rules. You may only paraphrase. This turn will end at 12:30 in two days, on Friday the 2nd of May. Rollover may be weird these next two turns, I'll be at a wrestling tournament. Players:
  5. Long Game 105 - Day Two: Deduction The news scared me. Doppelgangers? The hell is a doppelganger? Someone that looks like someone else? So one of us could be replaced, and we wouldn't even know? That was naturally where discussion went as they discussed where they had gone. Hypotheticals sprung up, about how to catch future replaced people. Oh I shudder to think of it, but I was certain somebody was already replaced. One of these people was ot the person who I had traveled with. I never should have come here. It didn't take long before the Psychologist took us all in for an “evaluation.” If we had barely trusted her before, we didn't at all now. She was one of the ones to go to that Tunnel thing with the words and the stairs and the mushrooms and the Biologist said she hadn't intended on going anywhere but somehow she had gone anyway and the Anthropologist said he had gone snooping through people's tents and that the Psychologist could mind control us and Stop. Calm down. I'm going to get out of here. One thing I knew for certain. I wasn't going to the Topographical Anomaly, and I was going to try to stop everyone else from acting the fool and going there themselves. That was it. That was final. ~ LG105 Day Two has begun! 6. Long Game 105 - Night Two: Revelation The Camp was quiet, with so many gone. I had stayed back, though I was not inactive like some others. Instead, I collected samples from closer to home, learning of this area we had dismissed upon our arrival. I didn't like it with so few people. I felt vulnerable. I feel vulnerable. They're back, but I don't like their expressions. They look like bearers of bad news. ~ Welcome to LG105 Night Two! No-one has died. Some rules have been revealed though. The "Return Anew" wincon has been discovered! You will know if you possess it. Return Anew: Replace all living players with doppelgangers and leave Area X. Do not allow the village to complete the Destroy Area X win condition. They win when every player still in the game has the Return Anew wincon. They will have a document which all doppelgangers can communicate in. This will end the game. An new detail has been added to your win condition: Complete the Mission: Follow your orders from Central and determine what is happening in Area X. You will discover more about this and the scope of your mission by exploring Area X. Do not allow the Doppelgangers to overtake you. Things to Note: You may vote today, but all actions will take place next turn. Votes must be placed in Bolded Red Remember that all italics are purely flavor! 7. Long Game 105 Day One: Exploration The Psychologist never did reveal their findings, and while the discussion continued for many hours into the night, perhaps more hours than was wise, we decided not to send anyone back to Central. We had mostly made the decision on our own, but the thing that finally caused us to shut up was the Biologist, the leader put in place by Central, putting her foot down. She said we had too little information to go on yet, and that was final. When we woke the next morning, all was well. Our nerves calmed, we made preparations for our day's travels, though where we would go once again came under debate. ~ LG105 Day One has begun! No one has been sent back to Central! 8. Lies by ommission Little white lies only I'm not Szeth. No offense Szeth.
  9. Long Game 105 Night One: Evaluation We had only just arrived at Base Camp and already conversation had turned to evaluating our mental states. The moment we had finished setting up, the Psychologist insisted on taking everyone in for private evaluations. Nobody spoke while we waited our turns, but I know everyone was thinking the same thing. Who evaluates the Psychologist? They were frighteningly silent once finished. No amount of prodding could convince them to divulge their findings. It was the beginning of the first night, and already our trust was failing. ~ Welcome to LG105 Night One! (Remember that it's not actually a night because they're swapped for flavor) All role PMs should be out, but PM me privately if you haven't received yours.
